Video from my first Cup ... (NHL2005 - Flames Dynasty, 2nd season)

So ... I decided to upload a video from my 2005/06 playoffs because it was awesome run ... alot of great plays, hard hits, fights and injuries ... also dramatic moments in overtime(s) (like save by turks in 2nd OT vs CBJ and Iggy's goal couple seconds after that save) ... unbelievable hitting fiesta plus fights with Philly in the 3rd game of the SC Finals after Amonte's and Desjardins' injuries (both injuired in the same game and Philly started to play so aggressive after that) ... Best playoffs in my history with EA NHL series (NHL 98-2005) ...

The series with Flyers was special to me ! ... in my 1st season, I made the SC Final and I led the series 3-1 ... but I lost 3-4 (last 3 games : 0:1, 1:2{OT},0:5 ... kipper got 5 goals in 14 shots in game 7 ... and he asked for 9mln $ and I said no ... Isles signed him ... so, I traded for my fav goalie Marty Turco {4 mln $} and it saves me about 5 mln $ ... Marty shows in 2nd season how great he is when he play for my team ! )

BTW : after game #4 with CBJ, I was sure that my dynasty is over (2nd time without a Cup that GM requested again) ... I started to do the addons for the Dallas Stars (I planned Stars Dynasty if they fire me {I'm a Stars fan since 1998} ... but the next day was awesome ! ... I won the 4-3 ! :D ... The series with Columbus was the best series in my whole history with EA NHL games ... ! :)

It makes me even have to admit that as much stuff that I didn't like with NHL 2005 I did enjoy the playoff games in had with my Oilers in Dynasty mode. I had some GREAT OT Thrillers and big goals and big hits.... Not as good as your playoffs, Phil.. but I can appreciate the enjoyment you had in the playoffs.

Good work on the addons though... it looks really nice.

I'm not a big fan of 2005, but that video was incredible. You did a fantastic job on it and should be proud of the hard work you put into it. Thanks for sharing it and congrats on the cup --- even though you did beat the Flyers. ;)

it would be even awesomer if you played the Isles in the Finals

... but Isles finished as a 9th team on the East ...

btw: I forgot to add that the series with Philly was special not just cause I lost after 3-1 lead in 1st season ... it was also Flames-Flyers Final (in the 1st season they won presidents trophy and stanley cup)
