The gyroball has been used in Japan for a while. It's actually a curveball that's thrown like a slider to reduce the stress on the wrist. It's definetly gonna fool batters for a while here in the MLB.
give it till the all star break to be unhitable, after the all star break, you'll see Jim Thome, A-Rod and other power hitters put that about 400 feetSpedmunds
It won't be unhitable because no one can throw it. People have tried but I have yet to see a major leaguer throw it, and have yet to see anyone throw it correctly.
