Shack huh, whos that. SHAQ fyi. Shaq happens to be in the All Star game because he has been a great player his whole career. While i felt he was very over rated while with the LA Lakers because all he did was stand under the basket and dunk he has greatly changed his game from those times and now with the Heat has become a very interesting player to watch. I am a Pistons fan and it was a lot of fun to see the Pistons beat the Lakers in Shaqs days because everyone said him and Kobe would kill us. Shaq is a good player and deserves the spot.

i think they should just stop the fans from voting cuz it isnt fair to the players, i mean steve nash isnt in the starting line up and ben wallace or zydrunas ilgauskas deserved to start in the all star game more than shaq (shack lol that made me laugh)

Why do you think the topic creator lives in a shack or something? But anyway onto the topic's question probably the reason why Shaq is in the all-star game is that he's one of the most popular players in the NBA, and he's unusually good for his big size...even though he's slowed down quite a bit this year.
