Anyone here owns Xbox but not gamepass? (Only asking One and Series, obviously not OG or 360)

I currently have an Xbox One S and am subscribed to Game Pass. I didn’t get GP until the late middle portion of last year. I kept from subscribing for the longest time because I generally prefer to get my games on physical format. However even still the value is too damn good for me to pass up on it. There’s plenty of games that I like to play on the service that I necessarily don’t really care if I own them or not. It also has given me the opportunity to try out a bunch of stuff that I really wouldn’t have ever played otherwise.

You know that you can own games and sub to games at the same time.

I've owned Xbox 360, Xbox One and now Xbox One X. I've never owned game pass, in fact I've never subbed to Gold either.

I don't like subscriptions and just yesterday I even cancelled my Humble Choice subscription.

I own series s and my subscription expired last month I've yet to resub. I know I will at some point mass effect legendary edition has me interested.

I love Game Pass, always something new to try and don't care about ownership. I just want to play, not collect.

I have a series X and no gamepass.

Currently on X1 and loving Gamepass. Don't even care about getting the 1X yet as I have plenty to play and most of my friends haven't upgraded yet anyway.

The majority are going to have gamepass now. It's essentially baked into the xbox experience.

If i owned one, i would only sub to the gamepass when a new game that interests me comes out, but doesn't interest me enough (or i know i won't invest much time into it) to spend the full fat 60 on it. I would never be permanently subbed to the gamepass like some. Massive waste.

Also got a lot of digital that would immediately be playable on the Series S. How tempting it is. 😔

I got rid of Gamepass a few months ago. I have all three consoles and a massive backlog and even gen 7 stuff that I am playing through. I felt like I was throwing money away when I don’t play any Gamepass games. Halo multiplayer being free to play made the decision easier.

I have an xbox one s but no gamepass. I only grab it when its on a 1 dollar sale. I already have a backlog of games I'll probably never finish. I don't need to pay money for a service I don't need. With that said, it is a good service, I just don't need it

Once my All Access runs out in November I'm just going to do one or the other. I'll either just play my games on discs, or I'll just sub to gamepass and play those games. Lots of cancelling and resubbing to gamepass depending on the new offerings on gamepass. It doesn't make financial sense to sub to gamepass if I'm not going to use it that month and I hate throwing that money away.

Me. I had Gamepass for about 5 months of last year. It was very nice. I enjoyed several games sometimes to the fullest but because I own or beat many of the games on Gamepass a while ago, it isn't super important to me. I also just don't like being subscribed to too many pay model services every month so it was never going to last for me.

But it is a great feature for sure.

Plus, I think this myth that people that have Game Pass don't like to own games is ridiculous.

You know many games I've bought because of Game pass? Not to mention all of the games I bought, just to see them on Game pass a couple of weeks later lol.

I have Game Pass. I picked up a year of it on Black Friday for $100. That is $8.33 per month. It includes Xbox Live Gold, so assuming that I want to play my Xbox games online and I would have Gold if I didn't have Ultimate, the additional cost of the subscription to me is $3.33 per month. It would be insane for me to not have it.
