Bayonetta 1 is getting a physical release this year on Nintendo Switch

Our favorite Witch is back. Nintendo has confirmed that the physical edition will be available in limited quantities, so you best be quick if you want to secure one!

Plus, complete your Bayonetta collection when the original Bayonetta game launches for Nintendo Switch as a stand-alone, physical release on Sept. 30! A limited number of the Bayonetta physical version will be available to pre-order via select retailers and available at launch in the My Nintendo Store at a suggested retail price of $29.99.

I’ll get it. But I also want more merchandise in general from Bayonetta. It’s one of my favorite franchises! They should have a Bayonetta 3 Collector’s edition.

And I'm gonna get it to round out the physical collection on Switch.

My copy of Bayonetta 2 came with a digital redeem code for the first, I am fine with that, plus I have the game on Xbox via BC and the XB1 re-release so I am good there... damn, nearly forgot, on Wii U too.

It has a physical edition on PS4/XB1 with Vanquish included for the HD remasters, so this is appropriate I guess. Still, I think 29.99 is too much for a 13 year old game.

Since they released a Bayo 1+2 package for Switch in 2018, buying this would be dumb. Unless you want to waste money on a piece of plastic, of course.

The special collectors edition in Japan never got released here :( Very annoying when they do stuff like that.

I never redeemed the download code and knowing there will be a physical copy I have less interest in doing it, I'm going to wait for it, I'm in no rush, played it in both consoles back in the day.
