Talking about absolute shit optimisation.
I bet all 10 people on PC will love this game.
Recommend me a 1080 ti if old.
PS
I can't read, its for raytracing, not normal solution. oh well. Recommend still a joke tho.

Umm, what game?
Control
IDK why you'd use the 1080 instead of the 1060 which is the minimum requirement and the more equivalent.
I think he was reading the 2060, which is close to the 1080 in some ways.
The image posted in the TC is a wee bit outdated; the requirements for max graphics have since grown.
I think what this is telling console folks is that their systems don't meet the required spec to play the game properly. Xbox One X should be the bare minimum for this game. Base console and PS4 Pro are gonna be a huge compromise

I actually do think the devs will pull a little bit extra out of the X for this game than most other multiplat titles.
Control is in the grey area of current gen and next gen games. 2013 consoles are really starting to be tapped out as far as ability goes.
I wonder if I could get by on my 970gtx.
The 1060 is about 10% more powerful than the 970, so you might be able to get by, providing you have some OC going on, a super strong CPU, or running it at 900p instead of 1080p.
The game already looks pretty bad. its going to failed badly.
this system requirements are too high for a game like this i mean it looks like another unoptimize game.
Looks like I meet the recommended spects despite I have RTX 2070 and this is a day one purchase even though it's Epic exclusive. Control is my most anticipated game of 2019.

Control
And it should be noted Control is Epic exclusive and the game is develop by Remedy, my favorite developers of Max Payne, Alan Wake, and Quantum Break.

Disagree completely. It looks like Remedy's best and they even brought all their talent back to star in the game: The original Max Payne voice actor is in there, alan wake's actor, Beth Wilder, the girl who played in Quantum Break.
I'm dying to play this game. But it'll be august 2020 for me.

As a previous 970 owner, that card was freaking amazing of it's time, but nowadays, it's showing it's age and it struggles today's AAA games even on the lowest settings. A 980Ti can still hold it's own but for anyone still using 970, I recommend upgrading to 2060 or at least GTX 1660Ti which isn't a bad deal.

Lol dude, i got a 970 gtx. tell me one game that doesn't run at high settings at 60 fps.
Seems like your 970 was borked.
@Gatygun: I upgrade my 970 ever since 1070 launch years ago and I look at various benchmarks showing it's age but it's still a great GPU, no doubt. Just don't expect anything higher settings nowadays. And borked? I love my 970 when I purchase it years ago despite the whole Vram Nvidia lied about. If your aim is 1080p/60fps, 970 is still kicking strong.

the gameplay looks bad. the enemies looks wierd. there is only one gun. shooting looks terrible with bullet sponges.
after looking at these games. i really hope if Max payne 4 happened in future. it will be by rockstar because remedy lost too much of talent.
beside again look at system requirement. its not some graphic king but has highest requirement i have ever seen. 1060 in minimum??? and i have only 960 atm...
Sounds like Xbox One is going to play the game at settings lower than PCs low and sub 900p resolution.

Ghost, she has psychic powers and it makes sense for her to have a pistol at hand but using telekinesis is the game's ideal. Also, Control looks like a fun game to me and I'm not even expecting May Payne style either. I'm excited to play Control and i like what I seen so far.
I can't take you seriously these days with you Ghost.

The problem with those benchmarks is that they ram everything on ultra.
The same goes with witcher 3, ram everything on ultra and yes its going to sit at ~50's non overclocked.
Slap shadows down to high, remove hairworks, put background characters down from highest one to high and suddently your game runs at 70+ fps everywhere with fluxuations from 65 > 100.
I just wish nvidia would release a new gpu series that isn't a straight rip off. I need 2080 ti performance for 300 bucks. hope next generation 3060's are going to deliver that.

It might depend on the cpu. Here's a video of a guy with a 7600k and a 970 GTX in Battlefield 5 on ultra.

His FPS dips down to 12 at one time, and barely stays above 40 much of the time. This is also only single player.
I'd imagine high is a bit better, but I doubt it stays above 60 fps the whole time.

Wow. Surprised to see so many primary PC players saying they game on weak rigs with 960's and 970's level hardware here.
I was going to buy it on PS4 anyway with a voucher I have. I hope people on PC can play it on a medium rig.

Star Citizen, lol. KTHXBYE
BTW, most people don't understand that ONCE it goes below 60fps, it's not a stable/locked framerate. I had a GTX 970 since the launch (Sept. 2014), while i had great time with it all over the past years, i switched ASAP to RTX 2070 when they hit the market (Oct. 2018). I hate stutters, so locked 60 fps (or 120 fps, depending on the game) all they way...

960 is fine. i can run most of games on high and Metro on medium but its not like this will be only card i use. I will upgrade it before Doom Eternal.

A GTX 960? Wha....?????!!!? You are NOT worthy of defending PC as a gaming platform on System Wars!!1!1 /sarcasm
But that's basically a ''vanilla PS4'' level performing card and therefore your opinion is still relevant in SW...:P /no sarcasm
What GPU are you planning to upgrade to, though? Seeing you stuck with a really dated GTX 960, i'm worried your CPU might potentionaly bottleneck the new one.

Honestly if your budget is so tight, a GTX 1660 sounds like a much better option here, though. They cost about the same (at least in my country) with 1660 being generally better performing + you won't have much issues with compatibility, 'cause it wasn't made by AMD (lol, couldn't help it, but so true in PC gaming world...XD).
They just lowered the PC requirements looks like my 970gtx will be able to play this after all lol waiting for the Steam release next year though.

Drop to high and done.
I was sitting in bf1 with 80-100 fps with a 970 gtx at high settings, bf5 will probably take some more hits, but honestly it won't drop to lower then 60 fps if that card pushes 100+ fps in bf1.
Your video:
Dude has terrible framestutter in your video because he runs at dx12 that was completely borked at the time and runs everything at ultra. 970 won't do ultra anymore, high however fine. But even at ultra with a good PC around it u will barely dip in bf5 below the 60. So yea.
Here my 970 gtx that runs in bf1.

I guess they started to realize nobody was going to buy the game otherwise.
