Well, I know what I will be playing this weekend immediately after Scarlet Nexus (🤢🤮). I enjoyed the demo, I am hoping the full game is as good.
Just look how far ahead this little indie looks when compared to Dread🙃Playing Scarlet Nexus🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢

You're just becoming like white noise now.
Is this good or bad? Because i ain't abandoning a $60 side scroller.
Tried the demo this summer and i'm definitely going to play it.
@gym_lion: True, it was one of the few trolls I considered funny but is really becoming just background noise.

It's neither. It's indifference.

That's not cool. Anything but indifference.
PSA - Carto is leaving GP already, and that's a good little game folks should try if you're into indie puzzlers. Looks like it is for little kids but has a solid ageless humorin it and some puzzles are challenging while all are at least entertaining
@Pedro: is scarlet nexus bad? I was interested in it, how's it play?
Japanese game, must be bad.
@mrbojangles25: That's what I was hoping for.
You start the game as pregnant dolphin that has to survive and find a safe place to give birth. You then go on some family adventures before getting caught in the "cove". Now you take control of the baby that had to witness it's whole family slaughtered before it's eyes! From there you befriend a Siamese fighting fish that teaches you Fin-Fu, which you are tasked to teach to the whole pod! This culminates when you locate and destroy the murderous humans that butchered your family.
Ohh... and your lateral lines (I don't think dolphins have those) are turned red from swimming through your mother's blood.

Somebody give this person some money so we can get this game made!
Needs a death metal soundtrack to it, to slay humans to, of course.
Oh, I thought this was going to be about Star Trek Next Generation: Echos From the Past on Genesis.
Oh well.
Thought it was some new Ecco the Dolphin from the Genesis.
ive been playing back 4 blood and hades. Theres so many great games on gamepass, these gems get passed over often.
So is it a turn based RPG? Love the art style.
The art style is great and the storytelling is solid. However, the combat is terrible. It is turn base real-time. You take turns in attacking but the attack is real-time but typically in the form of a quick time event. The game allows you to block enemy attacks with QTE. However, not blocking attack deals double damage. If you die on a boss, your health is halved on respawn and you permanently lose any items you used in combat. Enemies (especially bosses) can deal damage that is 50-75% of your health in one attack if you mess up on the QTE. Typical enemy attacks are about 30-45% of your health. The only way to heal is sleeping at home which requires you to run back to your house, pet heals or using items that cost money. But, money is generated by killing enemies and the enemies will stop respawning after sometime. The average earnings from enemies is a $1 and progression is gated by comic books which cost money ranging from $20-$100. As I am playing right now there are 6 enemy locations and all 6 of them have been exhausted.
