How many platinums do you own

I have 160 which some may consider a lot, but i have been playing on olaystation network since 2008 which is not a lot for that timefreame, some people have been playing for 5 years and already have 500+ or 700+ platinums, plus i dont care about them now anyways most of them were from the playstation 3.

None, i heard people just cheat them anyways. I hate the system. Its annoying and i love to turn that shat off.

I have 9 Platinums on PlayStation and dozens of 1000/1000 on Xbox.

I've made 6 albums that went platinum and won 4 Grammys. lol :P

I'm guessing 20 before switching to pc in summer 2015. I could earn a bloodborne platinum in 5 minutes just need the ending spoiler where you let gehrman kill you and wake you up from the dream. I don't like skipping bosses so never got that trophy.

I have around 84 now. Just need to platinum MHR which I am getting really bored to death due to the repetition of crown hunting. Made a mistake of aiming for apex and elder wyverns first which means all left is piss easy monsters makes the grind that much monotonous. Also what the ****, who designed the shop loterry rare item thing its so randomized I am just missing 3 more room decoration but it wont appear.

Looking at my Steam games, I have "perfected" one game of 238. Yay me.

Wouldn't be against trying to get all achievements in games if it weren't so goddamn boring. Only game I have all of them in were unlocked just by playing the game a lot. If I have to do something boring, weird or unnatural to how the game should be played, I'm out.

On PS and Xbox, I think it's 7 each; Steam, it's 11.

I only go out of my way for achievements/trophies if I really like the game and want to maximize my time with it.

44. It used to be how I knew I did everything in a game. That way I could be more confident in my assessment.

I have no idea, but it's not many. All the mass effect games, a bunch of cod games, fallout games and portal games.... I was into achievements during the 360 generation.... Couldnt care less about them now a days.

It's a game by game thing. Some games have inventive achievements and others are really stingey with them. I find myself just not caring much about them anymore.

Dunno. I don't care about achievements and trophies. I find them annoying because of the popups that break my immersion. I disable notifications when possible. I play games because I enjoy them. I know this concept is lost on younger generations who are always looking for that pat on the back while playing a game. They waste time chasing that next unlock or grinding useless bullshit.

I was super into achievements when the 360 was released, until around 2010. Then i stopped giving a crap. Since 2020 when TLOU2 came out, i've done multiple plats for no other reason than to give me an excuse of keep playing the game i've already beaten, but i am certainly not grinding chores in a random game. The title needs to really good for me to care. The last two i did were Ragnarok and Elden Ring, and its a shame how Sony didn't even have a trophy for beating Ragnarok on the highest difficulty. When i see this in video games, you know, actual challenging trophies that many wouldn't be able to get, it makes me not want to bother, cuz you know that they're nothing else than participation trophies.

One, and it’s not something I strive for. If I get it organically, fine. I refuse to grind or “work” at trophies as it takes the fun out of them.

I just play a lot of games. My local library is incredible so I can't help but sample so many titles. I kinda wish Nintendo games had trophies too. I love Nintendo's games but I think going for a platinum in a game like Super Mario Oddysey would be great. Sure I have my save file with every moon but that's not portable; it's awesome being able to look at a consolidated list of gaming snapshots and remember the time in my life I was playing that game.

Exactly 36 and I'm pretty close on a few others. I actually enjoy getting the trophies (or achievements on Xbox) for games I really like. I don't do it for everything, only the ones that I enjoy.

I hate it when people talk down about getting them because I don't think there is a wrong way to enjoy a game. I started working on getting trophies/achievements as I got older and wanted to get a little more out of my games and not just race through them. And there's a few of them I'm proud of.

Exactly, i only platinumed games that i really enjoyed and wanted more, for example CoD was a cool game (black ops 1,2), enjoyed it with freinds and everything, why not go for it?

In order to get Platinum Trophies in most games, you're required to play through all the padding and filler content while also grinding out meaningless stats.
