New Uncharted 4 teaser trailer premiers, played before star wars showings

The GOTG is upon us folks!

Naughty Dog you sly dogs you, they just had to add the line "that's how they'll remember me". Does that mean that Nate dies or not? Keep in mind, Naughty Dog has a history of intentionally messing with people with their misleading trailers :P.

This was played before Star Wars showings in select locations in theatres. Sony is really getting on that advertisement hype train.

It would be nice to see him have a bit more of a character. Hopefully this isn't like Halo or Gears of War where they have trailers that don't follow the same tones as the game.

It seems to be that way with Uncharted 4. This one seems to be more personal, that's definitely the vibe they've been going for with the trailers and all of their interviews. I trust that they will stick to it. I can't wait to see them take the close and personal moments from The Last of Us and mix it in with the set pieces and adventure of Uncharted!

They really designed this trailer for the big screen. Saw it on the 17th, before Star Wars and it looks mighty impressive on the silver screen. Kinda loses much of it's punch on a smaller format.

Looks lovely, but it's baffling that an ad such as this probably cost a sizable chunk of the marketing budget to produce and advertise. Hope it pays off for ND.

Only fitting that they'd show this game during movie trailers.

No gameplay? Calling this GOTG because of some CGI trailer? I'll wait for the actual release.

Then you'll be missing out on an amazing game because of it.

I would bet that this is what cutscenes will look like. I can't remember the last time Naughty Dog did CGI. I could be wrong about this one because it's for the big screens.

From what we've seen and Naughty Dog's track record, I have full confidence that this game will at least blow my mind away ;).

I think it was really effective, it's short and sweet. I was hoping for a little more but I guess they want people to get to the movie instead of show off gameplay.

How do you know it will be amazing? I played UC2 & UC3 and I think they were both overrated especially UC3. I think 8-12 hour campaigns are becoming redundant in modern gaming especially for AAA games.

I played Uncharted 1, 2, 3, and The Last of Us and loved every moment of every one of those games. I'm a fan of Naughty Dog's work so I definitely trust them to end off the Uncharted series in a spectacular way.

They haven't failed me 4 times in a row so I'll stick with them for the fifth :P.

Graphics wise, perhaps but gameplay...I'm not so sure. I enjoyed 1 and 2s story but the gameplay wasn't all that great. I'll definitely get UC4 and hope it's as good as most people think it will be.

Really? Why run ads for a game that's been out for so long? I'd think Halo is high profile enough that the majority of people who are interested are already interested.

If you're after gfx you're playing on the wrong system.

I game on PC too but I love Uncharted for the story, gameplay, characters, set pieces, pacing, etc.

So good, GOTY 2016 coming early in the year. All the trailers, cutscenes, and gameplay demos shown so far have been fantastic. The beta managed to raise my hype even more, easily one of the best TPS ever, the gunplay and movement feel and control so good, and the rope is so much fun to use.

I think the line about how people will remember him is because Naughty Dog has been very blunt about how this is Nate's and their last Uncharted game.

I wish an Uncharted Trailer showed before Star Wars.

At most I got all Star Wars related media.

pretty sure they stole it from The Leftovers since its a recurring track throughout season 2.

That music doesn't match that game at all. It was good in Leftovers Season 2 though which was amazing, unlike this Uncharted movie "game" with its devs trying to be directors rofl.

I cant wait for UC4 but that trailer did nothing for me. Reminds me of the first cgi trailer for Quantum Break.
