A very cool idea has to be said. Can't wait to see what the community come up with. They have already pulled off some miracles with Morrowind.

Time for wild speculation: this is also a tool Nintendo will use to make a bunch of RT remakes for their next console (which will be very path tracing focused...er....at 1080P). As this has been written on the internet: it shall now be taken as complete fact :P. J/K.

......Seriously though think of all the RT remakes they could release if they did go down that route (which is highly unlikely). Ray Traced Pikmin! Kid Icarus Uprising RT! Metroid Prime 4....with RT.....*drools*.

Cool, I got a bunch of old games I want to play that I could test this on. Far Cry 1, FEAR 1, Thief 1 & 2, Painkiller series, Doom 3, Quake 4, Fallout 3, TES Morrowind & Oblivion, etc. Man, this can be game-changing. RTX Remix can motivate the newer generations of gamers to go back and play old games that they were too young to play but don't want to currently because the graphics look too dated for them to get immersed.

What Nvidia does, it can easily be achieved with my playstation 5. If you don't believe me, its none of my business.

This is not on PS5. They probably don't want it at 30 fps.

I hope to see something similar done for Alien: Isolation as it really needs RT badly and it would look awesome. I wish Sega would give that game a second chance.

Playing so many games at 30-40 fps for the last 8 years (including with PS5) has absolutely rotted his brain. There is no point in having a real discussion with him. Strike out his posts or respond with gifs, give no real thought.

Dude. That's pretty freaking awesome. Basically auto-remastering your old games. Now we don't need to pay game companies to do it.

This is going to be amazing on Tetris.

Looks pretty cool, but until GPU prices come back down to earth I don't see this as much more than a gimmick.

RT or not RT, ER has style, and that's way more noticeable than welfare rt shadows they're using.
