This whole Indianana Jones and Mando talk does nothing for me.

Also Ghosts4ever and to a lesser extent uninspiredcup continuously bashed Machine games' Wolfenstein for having too many cutscenes but would applaud them doing literal movie games.

Star Wars is sh*t. One of the sh*ttiest franchise in existence. Don't know when will we get rid of it and the superhero crze.

Ghost yea, he's unfortunately a hypocrite who's fav games (Mafia) are the origins of movie games.

Cup? Beyond criticism. Every single game that is a movie game has been called out. Years on end. And Machine games' is in the spectrum of being more interesting of using the medium to show off their cutcenes. It's a disgrace to RTCW.

My interest is piqued.

What i've noticed is that ever since Bethesda was acquired by MS, they don't release video games anymore so wtf is happening? Not only have they not released anything, nothing is even announced. This is what happens when you create games for gamepass in mind.

not sure how i feel about this. i like the mandalorian and can see conceptually lots of potential in a video game adaptation. but i would imagine it as an action adventure style game. lots of exploration, dialogue, multiple ways to achieve a goal etc. i dont see id as being a particularly good fit for this. if it was to be a pure shooter, then yeah it's in great hands, but i dont think a mandalorian adaptation would suit that style

@worlds_apart: Played abit of it, yea it's better. They make decent Quake maps as well.

But overall deeply dislike these new Wolf games. Esp being a fan of RTCW.

I really hope not. That would be like finding out there's a new Quentin Tarantino film coming out after declaring he retired only to find out it's a PG musical only viewable on Apple+.

I have more doubt any id Software Star Wars would be M rated than I do they managed to get a Star Wars licensed deal and working on one. Hopefully someone is mistaken. I'd rather MachineGames be working on this as their Wolfenstein series is very "meh" so no loss there.

Yeah I want that third Wolfenstein game too. I keep assuming that Machine Games must be nearly finished it since the 2nd one came out in 2017! But maybe they've put it on the backburner :(

I'd trust Machinegames with it as they do well with linear, story-driven games. I am a big fan of the Wolfenstein series of late and have replayed them a lot, something fairly rare for me to do with what I consider "one and done" type games (singleplayer FPS's).

Not so sure if I put much faith in id to do it justice. Not saying they don't have talent--the last two DOOM games were excellent--I just don't know if they have the story-telling skills.

And while I'm not too keen on cinematics and other immersion-killers, this is a Star Wars game we are talking about here...so there will need to be some story, some cinematics, etc.

So let me get this straight, lems are excited for an unannounced game, and us cows are suppose to be sad over this unannounced game. Wow I guess this year has been bad for lems with the Xbox hardware sales tanking , GP being stagnet, AAA tiles flopping that they have resort to being excited for games that hasn’t been announced yet .

IMO these older games captured the spirit of the franchise far better.

Namely stuff like Dark Forces I/II - Outcast/Academy

You aren't wrong Cup. The older Star Wars games were ahead of their time, even KOTOR has really aged well, it truly captures the spirit of Star Wars.
