Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 releases a new trailer

So remember this game that's been in development hell for many years? Well it's back again and the game is completely rebuild since it looks very different here.

The reason it looks different now is because originally it was being developed by a company called Hardsuit Labs but now it being made by The Chinese Room. Also they are claiming that the game will be released in fall of 2024. And it looks like the PS4 and Xbox One versions have been dropped so this will be only on the PC and current gen consoles.

Yeah I don't have any faith in this game at all unless Paradox Interactive who are the publisher for Bloodlines 2 finally got their act together and know what they are doing here but who really knows what's going on there.

VTMB is one of my favorite games, all time. In other words

Has The Chinese Room ever made a game with combat? I believe all their games are walking sims. This probably won't end well.

Yeah I feel the same as well. Not only are their titles mostly walking sims, but usually their games are lower budget as well. So them making a bigger budget game with a lot of combat is something that makes me skeptical of them trying to pull it off.

It will come out, nobody will notice that it was released, get around 65 on meta, sell poorly and the studio will be closed. Next.

Can't say if this will be good, but I'm glad they have made progress. Here's to hoping things work out.

That trailer concerns me greatly, VTM is about picking what vampire "clan" you are apart of with heavy RPG elements/gameplay. The current trailer looks like they are going away from that and just sticking to one vampire clan and all honestly that trailer just reminds me of a shinny Red Fall.

It looks like.. a game? I have absolutely no idea who that trailer is supposed to excite.
