What games on other platforms do you regret missing this gen?

As the gen is coming to an end I was thinking about what games on other platforms I wish I could have played. On PC and Xbox I really can’t think of any, but on Switch there are two:

Zelda: A breath of the wild

I know I would have loved this game. Starting blind and then figuring out how the world worked. All the physics and interaction in the game. So amazing. Really sad I’ll never get to experience it. Even if I played it now so much would have been spoiled.

Super Mario maker 2

Saw some footage from the latest update on YT and it reminded me of this gem. Such stellar platforming. It’s incredible the quality of levels people create. Would have loved to both play and build levels I think.

Anyway those are the two games I missed the most. What are yours?

None, PC/Switch/PS4 has nothing I need nor want.

I regret not buying a ps4 earlier in the gen. The yazuka games mainly 0 and yazuka 6 are 2 of my favourite games.

Nothing this gen, but if i skip the ps5, i'll miss all the quality exclusives which i actually like, and not just call em movie games like many in here

I haven't gotten a Switch yet so i missed out on BOTW, and Mario Odyssey.

Nothing pretty much. I have PS4, PC and Switch but I imagine if I dont have a switch, only game I would be missing out probably the upcoming Harvest moon Back to nature remake. Please port it to PS4 instead for nostalgia purposes and trophy hunt.

Nothing. I have a PC, Switch and PS4. Why would I ever want an Xbox?

Absolutely nothing because I have access to all the needlessly redundant hardware.

None - the only platform I didn't have this generation was XBox console and... well...

I play on Xbox One X. Mario Odyssey. This is the only title on a competing console I wish I could play. But one title is not worth buying a new console for.

Well I still intend to get a PS4 Pro eventually, waiting for more of the price to drop, so I will get around to playing the games I want someday. As of now though the games that I really want to play on it are:

• Bloodborne
• Persona 5 Royale
• Uncharted 4
• Death Stranding
• Nioh
• Nioh 2
• Horizon Zero Dawn
• Final Fantasy XIV
• Spider-Man

None really ... i have a so so PC for some indie or low spec games ... then a Switch and a PS4 ... honestly, there is nothing else that i really want.

Zelda: A breath of the wild is playable on PC with emulation though you might need a powerful PC and an ssd to play it in good quality.

some of these would be better off playing on pc if you are waiting e.g. death stranding and hzd.

but maybe that's just me. play it on whatever you want my dude.

PC/PS4/Switch is all I ever needed and there's no logical reason why I need Xbox One when MS are porting their games on PC. The answer is none. I don't regret missing a single thing I wasn't going to buy.

I’m not into the PC gaming scene these days. My current PC is probably like 15 or more years old tech wise.

I don't feel I've missed anything essential between PC, PS and gamepass now and again. I cant keep up with games released for these alone.

Probably the Switch though Zelda Breathe of The Wild, Mario Odyssey, Mario Maker 2 are the only games I would want still it's not enough for me to get a Switch.

I've been fortunate to own all consoles throughout the gen, so not much to miss.
