Which is greatest GTA of all time? (POLL)

San Andreas, followed by Vice City.

The most overrated series of all time bar none

but Id go with

GTA 2. its best one.

Mafia offer incredibly mature story, immersive gameplay. GTA offer some of the worst gameplay mechanics only popular becaus of "OMG open world city game" that lot of kids loved back in days.

Vice city was terrible game. even for its time let alone now. its only fun using cheat codes and messing aroud. actual mission design is incredibly linear with pink arrow and have absolute worst shooting mechanics of its time. Mafia released exact same year as Vice city and quality difference is day and night.

@ghosts4ever: I liked 2 when it came out but the game definitely did not age well and got really old really quick to me.

I had the best time with GTA III.

San Andreas in terms of the actual game, Vice City for the soundtrack.

GTA V is better than all of them. But for their time, it's between San Andreas and Vice City. I'd go personally for San Andreas.

Vice City is the one I had the most fun with. Just the vibe and everything. Probably my own age was also a factor 😛. Good times!

San Andreas or GTAIV.

GTA IV for these reasons

• Most gritty GTA game
• Best physics in the series
• Cars have weight to them feels more realistic
• Niko down to earth protagonist even though he kills
• Best gunplay in the series from gun sounds to the way NPC react to bullets
• The game still holds up as much as I love Vice and SA the gameplay is dated and it's hard to go back to

Couldn't agree more. GTA IV was a true next gen leap for the series.

Niko is easily the best and most relatable main character of the series. Going on a rampage with him is hardest of all to do, as he feels the most human. The game is absolutely chock-full of a cast of entertaining and memorable side characters.

60% of a GTA game you'll be driving a car, or inside some vehicle. In GTA IV they have put so much effort into making these fun to control.

And lastly GTA IV has the most expansive and diverse soundtrack.

I will round out my top 4 with:

GTA Vice City, GTA Chinatown Wars and GTA 2.

Chinatown Wars is my all time favorite GTA. I wish they would make a sequel. Heck, I would even be willing to settle for an HD remaster.

not really a fan of GTA but San andreas really sticks to me.havent played V though.

In Mafia you spend 6 hours picking people up in a Taxi trying not to go over the speedlimit.

Never played a 2d gta, but all the 3d ones are shit. Equal shit!

GTA Vice City had the music.

GTA San Andreas had the gameplay.

GTA IV had the online multiplayer

GTA V had a bit of everything.

I choose GTA Vice City because of the nostalgia and my first GTA game

Vice City. They nailed the setting. All the other games feel kinda generic. I really wanted to like V, but the shooting is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo bad.

Vice City for the dope music, but San Andreas for everything else. Gonna have to lean SA.

V, followed by San Andreas. I would be fine if every GTA game were in the Los Santos area

My cousin would sit and play that game for hours multiple times a week, you know how some people actually do the missions? I used to just go on a killing spree every time...... shame on me?

I thought IV did the best when it comes to sticking to the idea of what GTA is about. I'll say that ones the best.

Loved the top down games. Chinatown wars was awesome! Gta5 was great as well
