Well?

Started with a hand-me-down 2600. Few games I enjoyed on that, but it was the NES and arcades that really got me into gaming. Don't consider all of these to be greats, or even good for that matter, but they're the first games that grabbed me from what I remember.

More than 10, but gotta mention SMB3 and TMNT Arcade. Came just a bit after the previously mentioned games, but those two just blew my mind lol. Still enjoy SMB3 to this day, just timeless.

The real killer games that formed my preferences didn't start dropping until the early 90s. 16 bit consoles, arcades, my first foray into PC gaming, that's when the hooks went deep.

Idk I can even recall my top 10 but I have fondness for Chip's Challenge, Civ and Sim City as my first games. When I moved to consoles FF7, Suikoden 2, Breath of Fire 3, Digimon World and Harvest Moon Back to Nature was some of the earliest games I played. Then back to PC Starcraft, Red Alert 2, AoE2 and the tycoon games (roller coaster tycoon, Zoo tycoon etc) ate most of the times.

Yeah Faxanadu was cool, definitely a lot of similarities.

As a kid who just loved the OG Clash of the Titans, Battle of Olympus was the perfect find. The days of finding unknown gems in used game bins lol. Was basically a way cooler version of Zelda II.

Actually replayed it a few years back. Obviously a lot of nostalgia pushing me through, but still a neat little game.
