Age of Empires Definitive Coming to Xbox

Looks like theres going to an Age of Empires Definitive release for Xbox as well as Ashen and Below releases announced at the XO18 event. They say they have 12 new titles to announce.

I think these will all be play Anywhere as well.

Cool... looking forward to seeing what else they announce.

I just want to see anything from Playgrounds new game.

Well we'll find out tomorrow, i'd be happy if they announce the name and genre alone with no footage.

I want to see Age of Empires on the system too, though we'll need to use a keyboard and mouse for sure. The controller just won't cut it.

@psxfanboy: mkb should be easy to implement. Xbo is using Windows API and recognize same code from the win version through patch. No keybind needed to redo another control scheme

As an Xbox fan I can say without any bias that XO18 was a waste of time. Nothing of note was announced other than 2 new studios joining MS.

so what about Age of empires ? did it get announced for xbox? is it coming or not? atleast the person who starts this kind of topic should end it as well would not hurt at all?

i would love to see the classic game with mkb support and playing on xbox on a 50inch 4k hdr tv although i dont know that it supports this new stuff but would love to play again!

They never mentioned the game at all.

Not really into RTS games these days but I have heard the rumor as well, and there is a Reddit thread on the matter that popped up recently. Good for fans if true, if it does release and I get some time I might check it out

...i used to enjoy the RTS games, I just don't really have time for them anymore.

They announced Keyboard and mouse support for some games yesterday, so probably more announcements will trickle down from that in the upcoming weeks.
