These new bashboards are just getting worse.

Has the new dashboard gone live for anyone else yet?

So instead of pressing the RB/LB to scroll across MS has decided that its going to scroll down & up now.

The blade system for the 360 was the best UI they had and the ones for the XB1 are annoying.

MS needs to add a total edit dashboard options as its way past a joke now.

Although they have done a couple of good things and that's placing the store the first tab down and leaving crap like Mixer down near the bottom.

How does anybody else feel about this new dashboard?

Oh and they nuked the icons at the top of the screen showing how many friends you have online, messages etc that sucks :(

Excuse me for a sec, it's been almost 2 years since I last visit this place but anyways. I'm using my gaming PC Windows 10 accessing to my XBL account and from what you said, bashboard is still lackluster and yeah, I miss the 360 Blades as well. Still lackluster but not the worst dashboard I dealt with.

After some tinkering I found out that you can now get rid of unwanted tab's which is awesome, the first one I nuked was Mixer, its nice not having to scroll through that shit to get to store.

I wish they would just let you have full control over it. Make it fully customisable.

Also what are you doing here, did you take a wrong turn whilst drunk?

Like I said, My gaming PC is Windows 10 and XBL just happens to link into my account as if I'm using Xbox One. I don't like Mixer either. I still enjoy playing MS games from time to time :)

Lol, me and a buddy were just talking about the X360's blades UI as being or favorite. Anyhow, also not a fan of the new UI.

I'm curious how much has changed. I disliked the XBO UI in early 2014 or so. When I owned an XBO X in 2018 I thought it had improved massively.

Well, maybe by the time the Series X drops it'll be in better shape and all of this won't matter much lol.

It seems every time they change it they nuke the best features and replace them with crap ones, that and they keep changing from scrolling across the screen to now scrolling down, they need to make minor changes or just let the user customise the whole lot the way they want to.

The 360 blades were basic, but basic in the best kind of way.

Need to nuke the movie store, mixer, and I don't really care all that much for the community tab either.

Simplicity and clean looking wins every time.

@i_p_daily: Yikes, well I'll have to see what I think when I pick up a new system. Your idea about the user being able to customize the way the screen scrolls and what content should be shown is a good one.

Really, it is disappointing to hear this most recent update isn't liked. I felt like things were on the rightvtrack circa 2018.

I'm not sure whether the community is driving these changes or the team in charge of this stuff gets bored on a regular basis, but instead of minor changes they change a heap.

Like I said a fully customisable one or at the very least allow us to trial the new dash and reject it if we don't like it.

I'm the opposite, I don't care for Mixer one bit, I don't watch friends on Mixer and hate that MS has spent millions to get these streaming "celebrities" on Mixer, instead they should have spent that money on games.

The community tab is ok, nothing special or one that annoys, but each to their own.

I miss the blades from the early 360 days. That was my favorite console os. I can't stand the X1 os and I hope they change it with the XSX.

I think I have the most recent UI. Isn’t it the same as the 360 blades but they just go up and down now?

They keep changing it all the time, one minute they scroll across, the next update they scroll down, and you need to get used to it again as the things you use the most have now been moved again, its a never ending cycle, at this point MS has released more dashboard updates then games.

Its simple, allow us gamers to fully customise it to our liking since we are the ones who look at the damn thing AND allow us to preview the new dashboard and allow us to not have it instead of forcing us to use it.

Not too much to ask me thinks.
