I have a Gears 5 Xbox One Controller which came with my Gears 5 edition Xbox One X a year ago and recently the left thumbstick has started to drift upwards, and then downwards when I correct it. I have read about dry lubricants you can buy to fix these but they are all North-American based and I live in the UK.

Can anyone advise me of any dry lubricants I can find in the UK that will work or any other fixes that I could also try?

It's £65 for a new matching controller. I bought a cheap £13 mini one for the time being but I'm sure there is a solution somewhere.

The Xbox support page on Twitter has a controller replacement plan process you should check it out. I will try to update with link if I can.

My nephew recently had his Series S controller have stick drift and it's a year old controller. Lucky we have two controllers so he can just use the new one that I recently bought. I never had stick drift problems before.
