A sad ocean.

Wanting to like this game I happily downloaded it and started on what would seem like a well designed JRPG.

Twenty or so minutes into the game and you can see that story and conversation weren't a priority for the development team. About an hour and you realize neither was combat. The targeting system is terrible; it constantly switches targets and doesn't stay locked on. Despite your best efforts half your swings will miss.

Don't even try to heal during combat because it is the worst experience you'll ever have. Imagine fishing into your pocket to pull out a healing item only to accidentally take a step forward and have it all canceled after waiting so long. Now do that anytime you want to heal during combat. Oftentimes in the time it would take me to pull a heel out to heal someone they would lose as much HP as I had healed the first time I tried to heal them. This constant nuisance isn't a problem until you encounter any of the large boss moments.

I can't see this game being worth any more of my time than it is already wasted and I say to you unless you're a major fan of this series and are used to its flaws this is once again not worth your time.
