Flying shooter know it all please help

Does anyone remember an arcade flying shooter similar to Raiden where your ship added wing attachments when you picked up powerups making you a larger target but gaining more firepower? I have been trying to track this game down for years and have had no luck. My brother and I used to play a standup arcade version in the early 90's. Thanks for any help

@Yrkoon99: thanks but no it was a brighter game and the wing upgrades actually attached to your ship making you a bigger target the more powerful you got.
