There are what, three? Four? Threads created by cows about games shown at the XBox event.
Well Cows have no first party developed games until Wolverine 2026. They will be doing this for the next 2-3 years while Xbox gamers are eatin' good, right SaintGeorge?

It seemed overall though it was well-received. But ya for some reason it seems like the majority (or perhaps the most vocal lol) of folks on here don't like it.
Would be nice while they have access to the license to see about getting the LucasArts point-n-click adventure Indiana Jones And The Fate Of Atlantis over to Xbox, plus seems reasonable to compliment the other LucasArts point-n-click adventures they brought to Xbox and Game Pass the last couple years. And bring The Dig while they're at it.

@warm_gun: Old movies don't hold the attention of younger audiences. Maybe if they watch it at 3x speed or something and with someone adding memes and music cues.

That hairdo, shirt and sentence all seem troubling, but define a modern audience? I define a modern audience as, one with the attention span of a toddler.
I wouldn't worry about it being woke, I mean the title is the great circle, sounds like they're trying to make it as easy for today's audience to remember lol.
@blaznwiipspman1: The voice actor is Troy Baker and honestly I don't think his impression is that close. You can tell he's trying for it but I am never thinking it sounds just like Harrison Ford at any point. I wish it was the voice actor from Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis but I don't know if he is still alive or if he would sound the same many years later.
It does look like it would work well as a PSVR2 game.
im ok with troy baker and not being spot on. I don't really care all that much about harrison ford...or his likeness, so it doesn't need to be 100% accurate. Troy Baker does a fine job of it as far as I can tell and getting close to it so our imagination can fill in the gaps is just better imo.
My favorite Harrison Ford movies were indiana jones (the old ones) and the fugitive, less starwars.
@blaznwiipspman1: Maybe it's a case where the more you hear it, the more you get used to it. I wonder who else was considered for the role or if they had Baker in mind? I have no complaints about him as a voice actor anyway. He's good as various different character types, and good at expressing different emotions convincingly. The character is Harrison Ford to me though, it's not like James Bond where there's different portrayals.

@girlusocrazy: yep, Troy is great, the man had done so many different voices and lots of experience. I get what you're saying, but to me I personally don't care about Harrison Ford likeness..the character Indiana Jones is more than Harrison Ford imo. I'm surprised they didn't generate some random look alike...but I guess that's where MS money comes in.
Either way, hopefully the game is great...and hopefully they don't make it too much of a movie game.

Disney seems to be making deals with different publishers and they have Blade and Indy with MS I guess and Star Wars with EA and SW+GotG with Ubi, Spiderman and Xmen with Sony, etc. There are probably more in the works. I'm thinking gaming will get saturated with Disney properties the way movies and streaming has been.

Finally we going to play a real Indiana Jones game, Uncharted and first Tomb Raider games have been fun but nothing compared to what this will be. Hyped !
