Historically, Nintendo usually announces a hardware revision towards the end of its life cycle. That's what they've been doing with their handhelds since GBA days. i.e. 3DS had a Lite and XL model. So it seems to me that all of this talk about great Switch sales may not be telling us the full story. Nintendo seems to think that they will need to release a successor in a couple years or so. This would also jeopardize Switch's chances of breaking the PS2's all time sales record which @casey-wegner loves to talk about.
So what you say you, SW? Is the Nintendo Switch OLED proof that Switch is on its last legs?
