Should I be getting ads?

I've never gotten ads on here before. Is this a site problem or a me problem?

@dimebag667: what platform are you using?? I’m using an iPhone and recently there have been ads.

I'm using Android. But I'm noticing ads on other sites as well. I honestly don't know exactly how it works, but this phone is old, and I'm wondering if it's too old for the current security updates.

It's getting worse. Any information?

@dimebag667: Gamespot was bought by Fandom. That’s really the only thing that’s changed.

Yeah I’m getting them every time I click a new page, and banner ads all over my screen on mobile.

Thought it was just me. Ads everytime I switch pages. Super annoying. I thought I had a virus on my phone.
