Very much. Fixes a lot of my original issues in the game, added all my favorite monsters, and the post-game is a very addictive feature from MH4.

Should be sleeping yet lines such as "one more hunt" is current motto in our guild.

@davillain-: Recall stomping being very satisfying in Dead Space; for then the creatures to stick onto Issac's boots with the rag-doll physics.

The Outer Worlds. What a game!

Watch Dogs was ahead of it's time lol.

@warmblur: But I really enjoy Watch Dogs the first time it release and I was cool with the whole downgrading just as long as the game itself was more enjoyable.

It's depressing though that they downgraded it they tarnished this series in alot of ways. Watch Dogs IMO gets to much hate but when it comes to gameplay and a dark tone this game delivers in spades. Also Jordi is one of the best side characters ever.

Pokémon: Shield

*I'm going to be very honest. Wish I didn't bother. The hate this game has been getting is justified. Wanted to take it for what it is. Yet now after beating the 'story section' I'm done with the game completely. Just glad I blitzed through it so quickly, game is a 6/10 tops!

Even then, think I'm being very generous.

@RSM-HQ: Yeah, it kind of surprises me to be honest. I've heard a lot of people feel pretty conflicted about the game. Do you mind sharing why you've given it that score? I haven't played it myself but would be good to get some insight. I haven't played a mainline Pokemon game since X & Y I believe.

@speeny: Began with X/Y so will do my best to explain, just to let know if it really was as mild as a few hundred removed monsters and last generation animations I wouldn't be so critical. But it's more than that sadly_

• Sword/ Shield doesn't give the player much room to breath honestly and find that it's biggest weakness. What I mean with this is the game constantly auto-heals your entire party, recommends teleporting you to the next objective frequently (no cutscene just wants you to appear at the next objective)
• The entire party levels from even the most mundane activity. It's as though the people working on this game don't trust the player to know left from right. Or to have a choice who to level and when; it's not just Exp Share either, just camping or capturing levels your whole party. As such with a lot of this extreme streamlining the fundamentals fall apart. This game is still suppose to be an RPG after all, and our choices have been lessened. Worth pointing out I beat the games Champion after ten hours
• Game offers a Wild Area (sandbox zones), one day this feature could be really interesting. In truth it's the only place of any 'challenge' in the SP experience. Even then they added a few odd restrictions onto this, what I mean is the game offers super strong monsters far out-levelling your party. . But you're not allowed to catch them. . Not yet anyway, not till end-game. Which beats the purpose of pushing through such a battle.
• The flood of technical issues is uncommon for this franchise and makes me think Bethesda did the coding. Roaming monsters in Wild Areas fall through the floor and NPCs freeze while climbing ladders. Local play was always essential to these game and it cuts out all the time when I tried with a friend 'lost connection' is frequent and tedious.
• And to close off, over one hundred moves have been removed from the game; fan favorite moves like Double Slap, Bide, and Karate Chop. The replacement moves do not really counter this out in a meaningful way.

Really do believe the game can be fun at times, it's just an inferior game to what we've already had previously on other Nintendo devices.

Some RDR2 on PC this game may have the best looking forest ever in gaming.

Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order:

@davillain-: Very nice and gloomy. Think the protagonist character looks odd never putting hood up in all that bad weather. It's weird in 2019 seeing a character with a hood, not use it for practical reasons.

Take cues from Nero in DMC5.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance might (maybe!) have better forests, but yeah, RDR 2 on PC looks amazing.

Errr what?

Working my way through A Plague Tale for a second time. Built a new computer and unfortunately EA Origin either doesn't have cloud saves or I didn't select the option. I got about five hours into it a while ago and never finished it, think I might see it through this time.

Still, it's an incredibly immersive game that is very cinematic without relying on cutscenes. The puzzles are clever; simple, but rewarding. It's the perfect stealth game imo; avoidance is the priority, combat is something you want to avoid.

Arguably one of the more overlooked titles of 2019 imo. Amicia and Hugo are really great and while I generally don't like "duos" in games, this mechanic works very well.

No Man's Sky:

@davillain-: One of the few games lucky enough to bounce back. Glad it did for its fandom, they really had it bad at launch.

@RSM-HQ: I bought it on launch day myself and while it was lacking content then what we were told, I actually had way more fun with No Man's Sky and to this day, I'm loving every second of it. Hello Games really work hard to make it right and glad they did too. The latest update is a nice welcome bonus.

Goes without saying what game franchise for me has been doing that for many, many years

ORBITBLAZERS (PC/Nintendo Switch). A great arcade game for me with fantastic visual effects! And one of rar games that supports splitscreen mode.

Crysis 3: (in 1440p and for a 2013 game, Crysis 3 is still very demanding to this day)

I also vote for RDR2 if we are talking about the perfect-looking forest. That's the reason why I got a hook to it. The graphics are insane.
