I purchased an extra copy on release day from GameStop and was planning on trying to sell it next year after it goes out of print. I've seen people say in online forums that the game is still stocked on shelves in their local stores.

I have the game still factory sealed, brand new. Can return until October 18 (per GameStop's 30 day return policy). Is it worth holding onto or should I take it back?

Considering the game is a plenty at most B&M stores? Honestly speaking I don't think I have ever seen as many available physical copies of a Switch title as this one.

I'd keep an unopened copy but in terms of increasing value you will be waiting a very long time. This isn't like MPT with an extremely small run.

I was thinking about buying a second copy to keep sealed. But then I thought many people would be thinking the same regardless and it wouldn't be worth trying to make some kind of a profit. Haven't even seen the game go temporarily out of stock on the websites I frequently visit.

I had mine pre-ordered early on because I thought it'd be the same situation as with the mini consoles...I honestly had nothing to worry about.
