You people crying about freedom of speech don't really understand free speech laws. They're designed to protect you against the government (i.e. protesting against the government), they are not designed to:

• allow you to attack people
• allow you to profit off of people's likeness without permission
• allow you to otherwise harm individuals

The issue with AI is that it is new, and we don't have legislation around it, and the folks in Congress are old as shit and bought and paid for by corporations.

With that said, we do need legislation passed to stop this. Today it's Taylor Swift, tomorrow it's you, and the day after that it's your 14 year old daughter.
