Flat Wings 47%
Drum Wings 27%
Excuse me TC but why can't we have both? 27%

As the title says it all, and as for me. I like flats because they taste better IMO and are easier to grab with just 2 bites to clean the bone๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ˜‹

Fun fact: As you get older, you switch from drums to flats. I don't know when or how but it happens to a few people who enjoy eating wings๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿค”

Flats.

Tastier meat, tend to be more succulent, and they're fun to eat.

I've mastered the technique:

  1. Basically to grib the flat at both ends and sort of flex it back and forth where the two bones join on either side.
  2. Then you take the smaller bone out sideways of the flat. Usually it comes out clean, but sometimes there's a small tasty morsel of meat on there.
  3. Then you take the main part and at the tip there's sometimes a hard piece of cartilage; carefully pinch that off.
  4. Finally, dip in blue cheese dressing (NO RANCH!!!) if you like, and then suck the whole thing off the bone like a lovely chicken wing lollipop.

Clean, efficient, fun (for those of us that fidget), and tasty!

Drums ain't bad, though! I generally order mixed wings but if there's an option for flats I might go that route.

Best thing I ever did once was find some turkey wings (yes...turkey wings. Not small chicken wings, big ol mutant huge turkey wings) and smoke them.

Then after smoking a let them chill overnight uncovered so the skin dried off.

Then I fried them like regular wings. Then tossed in a buffalo sauce.

Oh man they were good. Smokey-spicy and huge and tender.

Not too fussed as long as it's reaper sauce.

Was legit pissed off when Iceland stopped selling them.

I prefer drums because they're not as messy.

Drums. I prefer the meatiness and kind of enjoy the mess it makes.

Dang it, now I want wings. What's a good spot? Wingstop does have some tasty stuff.
