Jesus, they're on the tenth film? They're sure cranking them out.

I enjoyed the first few (I think I got up to the one where there was a bunch of people in the house together and one scene had the girl fall into a pit of needles? Maybe Saw 3 or something?) but lost interest because it just turned into gore porn at that point in the franchise.

Were any of the later films worth watching?

Ah, the film series we almost walked out of a prescreening on.

The good thing is this takes place between 1 and 2. Only saw the first. Watching 2 right now and it stinks, but at least I’ll have some context lol.

I really liked the first one. I watched a few other ones but they were forgettable and didn’t live up to the first.

I can think of worse ways to spend the day than be forced to watch the SAW series.

I saw an advertisement yesterday on my PS5 and thought to myself: Oh. I thought they made a movie where it ended the series. Lol.

First few were entertaining, but Jigsaw's delusional motivation for why he's doing stuff doesn't justify his actions. It's almost as stupid as that one Punisher movie where the Punisher says, "It's not revenge, it's retribution." I'm like, bud. You're killing them because they killed your family. It's revenge whether you think it is or not.

just like the fast and furious franchise, only ever saw the first. will not be seeing this.

Remember seeing first one ages ago, didn't really do much for me. Like, fairly mid tier horror movie. Watch and forget.

This doesn't look anywhere near as offensive as that Exorcist movie though.

Just got back from the movie, and honestly, it was pretty good! Up there with the 1st.

Sounds like an Exorcist III.
