Let's be realistic here between the 3 names we've heard of during this who presidential election, Donald Trump is the only one most likely to last the full 4 year term. It's pretty obvious old man Bernie sanders has no energy and is too old - probably die during his term due to the stress which comes with this job and shillary clearly has health problems and might also die during her term. Both not enough energy, Donald trump is active and will clearly be able to lead the country and make it great again. He is also tough and not a sissy like Obama, shillary and old man sanders. Let's get real guys, Donald trump will be Prez. Anyone else agree?

Well, the choice is simple for you then. An undetermined term between 0-4 years of competent leadership versus the other, which if his vitality and vigor is as big as his ego, will reign misery upon all mankind of centuries.

As someone who lives in Europe, i'm really surprised Trump and Hillary made it in the finals. Let's face it, both are horrible canditates, you poor guys have to choose between pest and cholera. I'll never understand how Hillary won over Bernie, who at least isn't a complete fool :S

Also it's really sad that people go out to vote for the only candidate they think can survive for 4 years xD

@GhostHawk196:

Honestly speaking, I think both options are terrible. Hillary is too left wing for her own good and Trump is someone I couldn't trust as far as I can throw him. At this point I'd take a talking rock over either candidate. This is just like, the WORST election of all fucking time. The way things are going, it looks more like Trump is giving Hillary the win. I really don't think he even wants to be president. He's always been a great business man, I refuse to believe that he's this stupid politically unless he'd want to lose on purpose.

@ArchoNils2: if it was a contest between old man sanders or trump then it'll be an even easier contest for trump. Communism and socialism doesn't work. You'll eventually run out of other people's money to spend. Old man sanders appeal to the lazy entitled generation of brats...

You know what, I couldn't careless if Trump wins or not cause let's face it, the U.S isn't gonna get better and it shows both candidates aren't up to the task. This years election is just horrible and if there was an option for Obama to stay President, I would choice that option but nope, his time is over :(

Trump has no place in politics, and nothing about his policies would be for the better. While he has some good ideas, he has said very little about how he will get those things done. That said he does have some interesting ideas in there on how to make america great again. The tax bullshit scandal only helped him. Now he is truly viewed as a hero for not paying taxes. The media was warned this was going to happen, and it fucking did. But seriously, this guy was a terrible businessman, and economic studies would show his policies to be worse than those of Hillary Clinton and Sanders.

Hillary Clinton is a downright terrible politician. Her speeches are generally devoid of policy substance, her ad campaign focuses on bullshit, and she outright contradicts herself. Her stance on Syria is far more concerning to me than her health issues. She has government incompetence written on her forehead. Stronger together may yet be the worst campaign slogan I have seen in my life. She takes her voter base for granted, yet it becomes increasingly clear that people she took for granted have a very high voter apathy.

Bernie Sanders has some interesting ideas. But would almost certainly be able to get very little done, by congress. But his policies are way more favorable than those of Hillary Clinton. While the strongest (or least terrible) of the 3 candidates, he is ridden with issues. Including some questionable stuff about GMOs and Nuclear Power.

If Trump was president, I would expect 4 years of a chimpanzee in office. With Hillary, we might get Tim Kaine for a few years, With Sanders I would expect a year or so in office and then Elizabeth Warren. Tim Kaine or Elizabeth Warren doesnt sound too bad to me, definately preferable to a chimpanzee.

Not happening, he'll get votes from backward red states, but she has the populous northeast (including Pennsylvania) and the far west (including California), probably Florida as well.

Despite her winning over some Republican senators and likely both Bush presidents, not to mention Bernie Sanders, it's unfortunate we have so many people ignorant to politics who will vote for a lying (more so than Hillary), clueless, narcissist like Trump, but it won't be enough to win.

Haha I give Trump a few months before he does something stupid and gets impeached. America is Trump's only option, because he dug himself into a hole by making bad decisions. ...and the only reason he got this far is because he acts like this whole thing is some sort of reality TV show which really appeals to the less able-minded citizens in the country.

If these forums are any indication, it seems that the deplorables comment made seems to ring very true. Trump backers represent that absolute worst in all of us.

Shouldn't you be whining about PC culture like a big giant baby instead? Or did you find a safe space?

Trump's health is now in question due to his hesitancy to release his medical records. So it's kind of a kind of a toss-up over who drops dead first.....if it even happens over the course of the presidential term.

@JimB said:

By having no place in politics, I was quite clearly saying that Trump is way out of his element.

And I came to that conclusion by,

  • Trump's Insecurity issues
  • Trump going on Twitter fights way after midnight
  • Trump's policies having no objective value to them. Many of them being disasterous in nearly every regard, be it economy or environment.
  • Trump's profound ignorance in the middle east. He couldnt tell the difference between the Kudz Force and Kurds, the Hamas and the Hezbollah. Man, Gary Johnson got fried by the media for something much, much milder. Hell, he even implied that Iran was responsible for the likes of Al Qaeda, which may indicate that Trump doesnt even know of the Shia/Sunni Islam denominations.
  • It is quite clear he hasnt prepared for the debates at all.
  • Lack of policy substance. Sure, Hillary hasnt exactly met satisfactory standards, but compared to trump, she has had so much more depth.
  • Trump being the king of debt. He cant manage his own businesses, what chance in hell does he have in managing a country? Of course, managing a country is not hte same as managing a business, but still.

The thing is, if you look at Bernie's policy proposals they are more akin to American financial policy of the 50s-70s than with communism. The wealthy were taxed at a rate of 70%-80% before Ronnie Reagan came in and gave us voodoo-economics.

No way trump would make it a full term. He goes into hysterical fits over twitter posts and shit. I cannot see him being mentally capable enough to perform the most stressful job on the planet 24/7 without breaking down. I would give him maybe a month, nut when that honeymoon period was over, he would fold like wet laundry.

His insane policy would likely get him impeached as well.

I wonder when his cult of personality will break down completely. I remember reading about an Indian guru who "taught" many disciples in a mountain castle. Christopher Hitchens wrote of meeting with this man. He had miracles, saved people, all the usual stuff. Talking to a former devotee of the guru, nothing seemed odd about the guru in this man's eyes.

He was a Buddhist (Busshism teaches to not like material things) guru who had the largest collection of Rolls Royce cars on the planet? Nothing seemed strange

Sleep with all the woman? Nothing

The straw that broke the camel's back was when he was sent to the store for a certain type of ice cream for the guru.

These things break down in insane ways, and Trump is insane on the level of any guru.

Lol that was actually Sam Harris not Hitchens.

It was on one of his appearances on Joe Rogan's podcast.

I completely agree.

There is just something strange about the election though. Its as if Hillary is already chosen as the next president and the whole election process is simply a formality.

Lets say that way back at the start of the election the "real powers that be" had to pick a republican candidate so terrible that nobody would suspect a thing if Hillary got voted as president. Donald Trump was the man - he's a loud mouth, confrontational, misogynist pig, no one would ever vote for him, right? Wrong. He managed to amass an impressive hoard of support. More than anyone ever imagined and now things have gone out of control.

I think Trump will be robbed of this election, and it ain't going to be pretty...

Save your tin foil hat comments and just enjoy the abstract thought.

If you're going to make a powerful statement like "Donald Trump is America's only option" you are going to need to give more concrete detail and facts. All you posted was some rambling that really meant nothing in the end. This thread is like trumps policies, it makes a claim and uses nothing to back up said claim.

I would like to think everyone in these forums can agree that using violence, even threats, is something that neither side wants to happen.

At the end of the day we have to live with each other and band together for another 4 years. Everyone is high on emotions and it easy to lose sight that we're on the same team.

What? No way. His policies (or lack there of) are a complete joke and would only cause resentment towards the United States from the middle east and Mexico. He has zero diplomacy, doesn't give a shit about common people, and only wants to be president to expand the Trump name.

Im voting Hillary although I voted Bernie in the primaries. I support democratic platforms, and her appointing a liberal supreme court judge. Her lifetime of public service at every level more than qualifies her to be president, whether you love her or hate her.

The age difference is 2 years (Hillary is 68 and Donald is 70) not really any difference.

Also, Bernie isn't even a candidate. I checked to see if this post was like three or four months old, but it's not....so, welcome to the real world TC. Must be nice to be out from under your rock.

America knows Trump is the only option, aside from the bleeding heart liberals. Thankfully there really aren't as many of them as they like to pretend there are.

I'm not a liberal and I wouldn't vote for Trump if he paid me. I'd rather see the country not go into the toilet of a Trump presidency. Only people truly supporting him are those that don't understand government programs etc.
