I'm upgrading from Radeon 9600 Pro (AGP) to GeForce 7600 GT (PCI-E)

I want to know if GeForce 7600 GT is good enough for the new games like Armed Assault, because i cant play this game with my Radeon 9600 Pro.

First, you need to make sure your motherboard can use PCI-express.  If your motherboard doesn't have it, you'll need to either stick with an AGP version or upgrade your motherboard.  The 7600 GT is available nowadays for around USD$110 on Newegg and it at least runs Flight Simulator X somewhat okay with "High" settings.  The CPU is my weak point so it poses a bottleneck in performance.  What motherboard do you have?

I'm upgrading my motherboard also, so that it will suport PCI-E. I also have Pentium D 3.0 Ghz CPU + 1 Gb of ddr2 ram. Is it good enough for modern games?

That would be an alright match for a 7600GT.

No way that fatality edition is worth $40 more:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814130062  -- $90 after MIR without shipping
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814150213  -- $130 after MIR without shipping

You're paying over 40% more for the fatality edition which has core clocks less than 20% faster.

No, you won't be able to play on the highest settings.  You might be able to turn up the IQ settings (image quality) if you keep the resolution down.  I've got an X1900GT (a good bit more powerful than the 7600GT) and I can't turn the IQ settings all the way up at my native resolution (1440*900).
However, you will be able to play it.

Play it on medium settings with good frame rates?

Depends on your resolution.

Check out how it should fare here:

They only have 1024*768 and 1280*1024, but if you want to run oblivion at higher resolution than that w/ the 7600GT, you're out of luck.

I didn't say it isn't the fastest 7600GT, I was just saying it wasn't worth it.
