https://imgur.com/gallery/rKeh0Yz how it linked correctly. Haven't posted in a long time but made a trip to microcenter for an upgrade.

Cool. That should be a beefy machine.

I just purchased my first AMD gpu ever. Powercolor Fighter RX 6600. Supposedly comes with a code for Starfield, but I didn't get any documentation confirming that. Still a good deal even if that falls through though.

Looks like a good budget option. Who would have thought they'd release a new AM4 CPU. I'm still not sure if AM5 is worth it over a 5800X3D build. More expensive memory and especially board, if you wanna future proof it with PCIE 5 GPU socket.

Nice upgrade. I would have paid a little more and went for a 5800X3D (8C/16T), but you are still benefiting from the 3D cache with the 5600X3D.

@mrbojangles25: 4k70 cutting it very close with Yakuza dragon engine games, but holy **** ultra everything!! Also v3d supposedly loves shitty ram on top the zen3 chip being on one side 6-8 cores less bandwidth issues.

@BassMan definitely. It's just that is a microcenter niche makes it so funny to pass up.

@PfizersaurusRex: yup, it's hanging with the plain am5 without an overhaul budget. My am4 personal roadmap came in clutch with v3d. @judaspete: thanks! Amazon shot out my re4 code a while back I missed the starfield window.

Always loved AMD, and between the opensource AMDGPU and the Vulkan driver, they've become the GPU of choice for those wanting to try systems outside the Windows/Mac world. They produce great products at fine prices.
