Play PS5 enhanced PS4 games from an external drive?

Is it possible to play PS5-enhanced PS4 games from an externat drive on the PS5 or do they count as PS5-games and therefore must be installed on the internal drive?

The fact that you actually have to ask this tells me how awful Sony's information output has been.....I have no idea btw.

Apparently from what I've seen on YouTube you can. You also get the enhancements.

I don't have the games to test.
