Hi GS community!
My kids used to be able to play Minecraft on PS4, using just my own PSN account -- i.e. the primary player (or controller) would be on my PSN account, and then the other 3 players (or controllers) would just need to join in as guest players on a 4-player split-screen. The other 3 players did not need to sign into separate PSN accounts. However, recently, we have not been able to do a multiplayer split-screen play. Each time a second player tried to join, the screen would ask the second player to sign into PSN. Pls see the attached screenshot.
I have tried all the following, but without success: 1) Checked all privacy settings, 2) Deleted or uninstalled and then reinstalled the game.
I did manage to find a quick way around this: I unchecked the box for "Connect to Internet" under Settings, and found out that multiplayer split-screen play was allowed. But disconnecting to internet also means that the online features become unavailable.
Anyone has an idea on the 'real' solution? Kindly share.
Thanks.
