I love basketball, and writing about it is my career, but I just can't watch preseason in any sport. So boring and sloppy-Halftime-

It's not like football, where starters only play a series or two though. Harden and Howard played 28 minutes or so. Preseason basketball is where you see what players have been working on and see how teams want to incorporate new players into their system.

I hear ya. It's way better than preseason football. But I just struggle to keep up with a game when the final results don't matter.

I don't watch it the same way, for sure, but it's nothing like watching pre season football where you are literally watching scrubs for more than half the game, some of whom won't even make it on practice squads. Maybe it depends on circumstances, if you have a team like the Spurs (which more or less have the same players and role), I guess there is no point, but teams with high roster turnover, major new addition(s), new coach, or high upside rookie/sophomore I can see the point... Maybe not so many games though.

Back from the game, this was actually the first Heat game I ever attended during the big 3 era. LeBron is huge in person. They entered the court from the stands, it was an awesome intro.

Oden and Beasley got no playing time....
