Ha. FIgures those 4 miss FTS in a row, was a 7 point swing would of come back to bite them in the ass.

lol, the Spurs should be banned from shooting free throws. It cost them in Game 6 last year and Game 2 tonight.

Mike Green pointed it out after Duncan missed that last free throw that this might cost them. And it did. lol at missing 4 fts in a row.

Please don't remind me. I almost died that day.

I like to think the Spurs won't shoot like that again, but they're the Spurs. The series is over though. It might go 7, but the Heat won't win a game 7 in SA.

I'll be surprised if this goes to game 7, but it won't. Spurs are just playing on a whole new lvl atm and Miami are letting the Spurs walk all over them the first half throughout this series, you can't let the Spurs do that with all of their talent.

So the heat are reportedly going to pursue Carmelo Anthony. Good god, that would be insane. It's totally possible for them to do it though, it would just require Bosh, Wade, and LeBron opting out and resigning for even less than they make now.

I hope so. That would ruin the chemistry they have. Melo is a ball hog. And the heat play good defense, something that would decline with Melo in there. Go for it Miami. I think its an awful fit.

I think it would hurt the NBA as a sport competitively, I would say 3 is the limit of what people are willing to tolerate before it becomes ridiculous specially if they win. It fun to slay the giant but a juggernaut winning all the time isn't fun. It wouldn't necessarily be bad for business, however.

I would hate that so much. I think my fandom for the Heat would take a big hit. Getting the Big 3 together is one thing, but then continually adding superstars is over doing it. I wouldn't feel right supporting this evil juggernaut. They are already the most hated team in the NBA.

Man the Heat are desperate, Spoelstra already has gone with the "nothing is working so I might as well play somebody I haven't relied on in the playoffs in hope that it sparks us" with Shane Battier.

Spurs are just a way better team. Heat playing with no intensity, no urgency, no pride. They just think they're gonna win the game. Getting blown out again. At home. Inexcusable.

If I'm Spoelstra I'm just going ape shit on the bench. Ream into these guys.

I want to smack Dwyane Wade. He looks like he doesn't care. Gets blocked, just stands there, and the play leads to a dunk by fucking Boris Diaw.

The Heat have a two pronged problem:

  • On defense they simply can't stop the Spurs. Their ball movement is impeccable, a man keeps cutting to the basket after two or three quick passes and it seems they always have a high percentage shot waiting at the rim. Either that or the ball rotate and a wide open 3 seems available.
  • On offense they got nothing, Wade is not being a factor so far, Lebron has been kept on check so far and the bench ain't giving them much.

The vaunted Heat defense ain't working and the remaining option, outscoring the Spurs, seems unlikely.

Good job, good effort.

Lebron and Wade are pussies. They don't give any fucks. They just want dunks and foul calls.

I wouldnt really blame Lebron.. he's basically the only player on the Heat trying. Wade is terrible tho.

Actually, Bosh and maybe Ray Allen seem to be the only ones playing with any effort. Lebron has this scared, dazed look on his face. And he's made a couple lucky 3s. Bosh has actually been very aggresive.

LeBron sure is trying but his doing exactly what the Spurs want: settling for jumpshots, denying him penetration as much as possible.

There goes Wade! 1-9 from the field and instead of playing harder, he complains about getting fouled on a defensive play where he got burned by BORIS DIAW. **** you, Wade. It's my wildest dream that Wade never plays in a Heat uni again.

He won't. He'll be the only bitch who takes his option so he can make his 23 million. And then **** up the entire team because of it. Guaranteed.

Me and my brother have been joking for months now that the best thing that could happen to the Heat this year was to win the Title and then somehow Wade dying in the offseason since he is 2 years older than James/Bosh, it is already breaking down and requires to miss big chunk of the season just for him to be big or bust on the playoffs. But since he is the Heat original, not re-signing him would be seen as a colossal betrayal and a PR disaster (like is the Yankees picked A-Rod over Jeter) yet his contract will probably be a liability going forward.

Aww man I didn't realize the sports discussion made it over into the new forum format or I would have been all over this thread sooner.

Huge game tonight, really hoping my Spurs can close it out in five so Timmy can go out on top at home. (Assuming he retires, which isn't a stretch)

Can't believe this of all finals will be the first I dont get to go to a game... work -_-

Bosh guaranteed a win. Interesting that Bosh of all people is the one talking when backed into a corner. Not Wade or Lebron.

@Put_in_Kitna: LOL. As much I'd love it to be a reverse jinx, I'd put the Heat's chances of winning tonight at maybe 5-10%.

And like I said in an earlier post, Bosh seems to be the only one who has any fire left. Lebron is scoring for the most part, but he looks like a zombie. I'd say Wade is a zombie, but zombies can actually walk and do things. Wade is useless.

I actually don't see Bosh running his mouth necessarily as a positive thing. How about you take over the game for a change, Bosh? LeBron is leading by example.
