Well the Thunder have gotten progressively worse since their finals appearance. If the Thunder don't win a ship or return to the finals, then I think Durant goes into win now mode. The man is hungry (no skinny joke). It helps Harden is like his best friend.

So what was your impression on Rose?

Well, lets see how the Clippers look with a competent coach.

Credit to the Bulls for fighting back. Heat played pretty sloppy in the 2nd half, but good to see them take the win against a bitter rival.

Bigger win margin than I expected, good win.

It'll be interesting to see if the Heat actually play tough like that throughout the season. They played catchup a lot during games last season, always hoping to just turn it on in the 2nd half.

Rose struggled but you have to cut the guy some slack. He's starting the regular season against an elite defense. The Heat's blitzing on Pick n' Rolls makes it hard for PGs to take over. I'm sure he'll figure it out.

Best part was the balanced scoring effort. 7 players in double figure scoring. The point guards accepted the challenge. That Cole crossover on D-Rose was niceee.

And yeah your Heat got us this game. The Bulls reserves don't look as good as last year's bench. Personally I thought they should have match Asik offer from the Rockets. Resigned Bellani or Robinson.

Deng and Butler getting into foul trouble early forced Thibs to go with the Rookie Snell. At least he got some real experience. But it also showed why the Bulls should of picked Dieng from Louisville.

The Heat are trying to slowly bring him into gametime mode, we want him to healthy for the postseason not little conference skirmishes. The last thing you want to do is put a notoriously injury prone guy against a team like Chicago in the first piece of regular season action.
