Rudy Gay has been traded twice in two years. Memphis improved after he was traded and so far the Raptors have.

#Chucker.

Kings improved though, that's something.

@PSP107: Asik left as a free agent. It's actually pretty rare for 1 player to be traded twice in a year; even more so for players of Rudy's pay grade/talent level.

If you are talking specifically to Asik being traded next, I hope so. Asik hasn't played in a while...

I guess I was thinking more of a Rockets fan respective.

But I think Knicks would love to have Lin back. Asik is a quality big man who could replace Chandler if assuming he can opt out or can be amnestied.

I'm gonna miss Luol Deng but getting rid of him was probably necessary for a team in NBA hell.

lol, I found out waking up to Mike & Mike in the Morning. It seems like Deng turning down a 3 year $30m extension was the reasons they got rid of him.

Bulls are expected to release Bynum which will save them $15m.

Wade shouldn't be on the team, let alone be a starter. Missed way too many games, and aside from a handful of great games, he's been pretty pedestrian. Let a younger guy get to experience the game.

I like Wall and I think he gets better and better each season when healthy. Honestly I haven't seen the Cavs play much. HoweverI do think that team should be a lot better with all those high draft picks.

While Wall's dunk was sick, the new dunk contest format feels like David Stern's final **** you to NBA fans. There was nothing wrong with the old format, and if they wanted to force the East-West thing on us again I don't see why they couldn't have done it in the way they did with the skills challenge and the 3-point contest.

The dunk contest was bad. Wasn't a fan of it.

I do like the new rules for the Skills and 3-point challenge though.

The East/West thing was dumb.

It was definitely tacked on, but I at least understood the reasoning of it during the 3-point shootout and skills challenge, where a final, head-to-head showdown was setup between the winners from each conference. Had the dunk contest done the same or even added a 3-way dunk-off between the winners I think the collective reaction would have been widespread shrugging. Unfortunately they somehow came to the conclusion that the dunk contest was missing a "free style round" and created a format that concluded 3 "winners" and no clear resolutions.

It makes sense to sit him. Their next game isn't until Thursday, so he'd essentially have a week of rest. And like PSP said, I guarantee Noah and company would be extra physical with him to knock him out of the game.

Stop crying. He took the game off because it's the frigging Bulls. The Heat are good enough to beat them without Lebron, as evidenced by the whooping they gave them Sunday. And yeah it's broken already. You can still cause further injury to the nose and surrounding areas if he gets walloped there.

He's not Wade who takes games off to "rest."

I'd pretty much agree, the guy has 2 rings and 4 MVPs. If he misses his second game of the season 2 days after breaking his nose I think he's earned it. Also that black mask is clearly superior to those clear masks.

I'm hoping that Bulls can close a deal to get Jimmer Fredette. It sucks that he's been under three systems and new managment that he couldn't flourish with the Kings. Bulls could use him off the bench for more shooting

Looks like you got your wish as he's coming to town.

I'll admit I don't have enough data on the Jimmer, but

He's 6'2 and plays no defense?

Where does he fit in the rotation?

Can he create his own shot?

Is he a natural 1 or 2 guard?

Jimmer is a poor man's JJ Redick. All he can do is shoot 3s. JJ can at least take the ball off the dribble and score in the lane. I don't think Jimmer is capable of that, but he didn't really get a shot to play in Sac-town I don't think.

TBH, I know that Jimmer has poor defense and I wouldn't want him to be a starter. He'll be good off the bench when we need to score and make break-a-ways. I have true faith for Coach Thibs to bring out Jimmer's potential as he did for Marco Belineli, Nate Robinson, and DJ Augustin. As for his guard position, he should be a 2 Guard, and only be a PG if Hinrich or Augustin is hurt during the playoffs.

James goes 8-10 on threes. He's the new Kobe.

I remember in game 7 when it was amazing that LeBron was making so many threes...now he makes threes all the time, off the dribble too.

AND while wearing that face mask.

Just looked it up, and James is shooting 58% on field goals this season. Holy cow...
