@ianhh6: Hey congrats. Much deserved. :)

I wanted Juve to win this but oh well. And a goodbye to Xavi, I remember him from since I was a kid, he will be missed.

:D thanks! Any football fan will miss Xavi (even the madrid fans), same as Gerrard and Pirlo... sad to see legends go.

I'm now wondering what this night would've been like if it had been Madrid in the final, like you said before :P

@ianhh6: You'd probably be 10xhappier or completely heart-wrecked. But in the end Barca has done a treble and Madrid hired Benitez. :D

@johnd13: hehe I better enjoy this while it lasts, I'm well aware such a winning streack isn't at all common for any team...

so what do you think of Benitez and Madrid? My feeling is that in Madrid they don't have a very clear idea what they're doing, and they're running out of big names to hire.

@ianhh6: Benitez is not all bad though he managed to leave Napoli out of next years Champions League despite the big budget. I was never a fan of Madrid's habit of sacking coaches every couple of years. Good thing they've got the funds to keep and afford the best and most expensive players.

I used to be an avid Madrid fan back when my favorite player was still around, Raul. Those were the days.

@johnd13: And look at Casillas now... Madrid have this tendency to kick their legends out the back door, especially with Florentino Perez as president... I felt bad for Raul when he was pushed out in 2010.

@ianhh6: The day Raul left the European football something broke inside me, football was never the same. :( Perhas I was overly attached to him. Funny thing how Messi and Ronaldo easily surpassed his title as the Champions League top scorer. These guys are aliens lol.

I must admit, it was very disappointing to see the Barcelona players rolling around towards the end of the match like they were seriously injured for them to get back up and be running around again like nothing has happened. Time wasting like that has no place in the game and if a player has a serious injury the referee won't stop the match in the future thinking it is fake/time wasting.

Gutted for Pirlo and co, but Barcelona deserved it over the 90 minutes.

Juventus played well, no doubts. Congrats to Barca.
