Wade Phillips named new Cowboys coach

I don't think he'll do a better job than Parcells, he did alright in Buffalo. It should be interesting to see how he takes this team, though I don't expect much.

I am just happy norv stayed. It looked like the 49ers would be big losers in this (norv, possibly singletary going..) but the 49ers coaching is strengthened, with the addition of manusky, who if he didnt get hired, would be defensive coordinator in Dallas.

The real question is if this guy is the coach of the future, or just a placeholder until someone else becomes available.duxup

I got a feeling he's a placeholder. I mean... judging from his style of play... he's not that good of a coach... he's WAY below Jone's standards. Maybe it's just me though.
