No, i bought Diablo 3 the something edition on Xbox for real cheap, and have no desire to play it lol.

I switched I full stop switched I was die hard not getting it now im picking it up day one ive never seen a remake look that smooth before and they are pulling out all the stops and not dumbing it down at all it looks the same mechanics as original. I like this new blizzard CEO. They got blizzard back in shape on remakes.

Getting it on PC for sure and Switch. When I Get ps5 or x-series x if they on sale or somethin might check em out.

@xantufrog: That may be the case but i have no desire to play 3, i only bought 3 because a friend wanted to co-op the game with me, so we both bought it and have never talked about playing it since, and that was like 2yrs ago lol.

It is really too bad this game doesn't support crossplay. I originally thought that it did.

As much as I'm tempted to build another Martial Arts Assassin again, I can't. This game ruined my life once, and I am quite happy being free of its influence.

Besides, I can no longer play these Diablo-like looters any more. They literally physically tire me out. It's why I've switched to looter shooters instead, which I find far less taxing.

I'm more excited with PoE 2 than Diablo 2 remaster.

PoE2 is most likely for 2023, or late 2022 by the earliest. It does look good, tho, and i have never even played PoE1.

I expected them to go to the shitter when they were bought by Tencent, but it looks like they've survived just fine, and PoE2 looks better than i even expected (level design in particular).

No. I put a hell of a lot of hours into it back in the day. Once was a enough. Great game though. By far the best diablo.

I had great fun with the original back in the day, but after the Warcraft 3 Reforged debacle (which blizzard apparently abandoned) I'm staying away from this company's titles unless maybe they're heavily discounted.

Nah, Diablo2 was a great game for its time but I feel like iv been playing it with every game like it since and iv had my fill.

I've been playing Diablo III for so long now that I find it very difficult to go back and play Diablo II, which I still have installed on my PC, because it just feels old. I'm not talking about the graphics, which have never bothered me, but the overall interface and gameplay design which feels archaic in comparison to games today, and a new coat of paint isn't going to change that. And I say this as someone who played Diablo II for many years until the release of its successor.

I think they dropped "cross-save" so people would get confused. I know I was. I was like "Wait....cross-save? So cross-play then? Yes? No? Wait, what?"

Honestly, imo, any game that isn't crossplay from this point forward is a missed opportunity. There is no excuse to not do it imo.

Nope, not a fan of these loot games. They are all too shallow from a moment to moment gameplay, and emphasize grind and quantity over the moment to moment gameplay.

Nope and I'm not even excited for Diablo 4 either. I'm done with this series and Diablo 3 was a satisfying end IMO. Blizzard just sunk to a new low after they start working with Activision.

I played it enough already so while it's doubtful it will probably be at the mercy of what my group wants to do. I wouldn't mind replaying it, but at the same time wouldn't miss out on it either way.

Absolutely... one of the most underrated parts of Diablo 2 was the PVP. You could do it anywhere other then town.

Day one on PC. I've never played a Diablo before so I'm pretty excited since I've always heard 2 was the best one.

I have seen a bunch of pentagrams from footage I have seen, including some from GS showed a pentagram on fire.

Hmm...haven't seen any footage of that myself, though I did see a pentagram in footage for Diablo IV, so that's a promising sign. I'm not expecting any Christian symbolism (upside down crosses, etc), which I believe was in the original games IIRC, but people would go apeshit.

Still, glad to see Blizzard growing some balls again.

I never played it back when people were buzzing about it, and the looter thing has been done to death since so not sure it'll offer me anything I care for. There's no nostalgia itch that needs scratching for me and I don't really care for isometric RPGs either. It's not for me.

@MirkoS77: TBH, Diablo II veered a bit more generic supernatural. Diablo I was the grittiest and the most overt in satanic imagery. 2 was a lot of kind of random settings with random monsters. And then 3 became cartoony loot-avalanche
