Cyberpunk has no gender options

Sounds like they're excluding the majority to "include" the small vocal minority. What about the people who want their character to be a male or female? Can't they just have an other option?

I'm buying the game regardless because it looks amazing. But I hate when devs say they want to be more "inclusive" and not even realize that they're excluding the majority of players by doing so.

Hm, I don't really care. Gamers can still pick a male body or a female body. Male body will still have its characteristics and the same for female body.

Another thought, I do wonder if there will be voice modifiers so we won't have to choose between two voices. That would be awesome.

Not sure why this matters. You can choose to look like a man with a male voice. It shouldn’t be hard to identify your character as a man with an ounce of imagination. Not sure why the game needs to tell you.

This is just stupid and I'm a big supporter of the LGBTQ community. Regardless of gender at birth, they currently identify themselves as male or female and even change their names to fit the gender they identify with. Why fix a problem that doesn't exist.

No one identifies themselves as "transgender". They are human, and they want to be recognized as the gender they identify with, not this "other" crap. This just is just screaming "hey, you are different than the rest of us but we will include you anyway"

I'm OK with this approach. Can't see why more freedom to the player can be a bad thing.

Meh sauce. This was a thing all the way back to at least 2015. Want a female character? Just choose all the female options. I did, and will do. Same as the opposite.

Should also note in this specific case that gender fluidity was a mechanic in the tabletop game. It's literally treated as just another body augmentation. Just an interesting little snippet.

People are too sensitive this days. If they put the male and female tags people will whine about a lack of third non binary option. If you don’t put the tags you get more conservative people whining that some people they don’t like are being listened to.

At the end of the day, unless you are transexual yourself or have an issue with transexual people I don’t why this would bother you.

This is not even remotely an issue. If you want your character to be a gender, the options are there to make one. This is a game about future cybernetic people that customize the hell out of themselves, why shouldn't that reflect in the creation tool?

It's a cyberpunk game. You can probably buy body modifications from vending machines on every street corner.

So...yeah, it fits the setting that your sex or gender isn't particularly important.

It won't stop me from playing the game that's for sure.
