MW2 and MW3 were possibly imo the best CoD games to release, both were really fun and addictive ( online )

I was decent at both games 3.0 kdr in MW2

1.7 kdr in MW3 well quit after 8 days lulz

From my understanding, in MW2 you could well AC130/ chopper gunner in every game, cheap weapons, kills, and just needed 1-2 good players to carry. MW3 people wanted to get rid of noob toobs and bunch of other stuff that were implemented in MW2. They didn't, dude lied, got fired don't remember name or care. Plus, to me at least, MW3 started to feel more like MW2 once you learned all the choke points and believe was one of the biggest complaints. Everywhere you turned in MW2 get shot (mainly b/c KS so easy to get). MW3 maps made that feeling even worse and KS STILL were easy to get. MW2 stopped playing after 24 days because it just got boring Predator-Harrier-AC130 too easy. MW3 turned out to be just MW 2.5

The only COD remake I'd buy is COD2.

I'd like to see COD2, COD4:MW, COD:MW2, COD:WaW, I could care less about everything after that.

A stand alone collection of the zombie stuff would be cool, kind of like what Zombie Army Trilogy did.

Wasn't those games already in HD? Why are people begging for a HD remaster of a HD game? It boggles the mind.

i havent played CoD for a long while now ( Looks like its only Destiny this gen lol ) but im sure if we go play right now you'll barely reach 10 kills.

Why in the world do they want an HD remaster of games that were already in HD? What the **** is this shit?

Obviously they mean a remastered version ( similar to Last of us, Devil May Cry, Halo, etc ) with all DLC and functional multipplayer to current gen. think i'll edit the title since the whole HD is getting to people lol

But again... Why? The games exist, are still playable online, and have thriving communities in existing consoles. Unlike other games that were remastered, these games are alive, and were not compromised by being on PS3 and 360. So what, really, is the point?

CoD is not my cup of tea, I got burned out many iterations ago. Though I do understand that millions of gamers love it and hey, Activision is printing money with this franchise, both sides are happy. I take no issue with that.

Here is what I find incredibly stupid.

This gen has been a cluster **** of cross-gen titles and "remasters" that hardly even qualify as that. These remasters are akin to taking a PC game at medium settings and changing some of the settings to high. Boom, full price, bend over guys.

The fact that console gamers even tolerate the shit is troubling, but to bend over and ask for it? And of all the games you could possibly ask for, you're choosing the most milked annual franchise of all time? You want to pay good money so some developers can waste their time porting over some fairly recent games with a minor face lift? You want to pay for the same shit again even though they release a similar game every year?

THIS IS WHAT YOU'RE PETITIONING FOR???

No wonder the AAA arm of the industry is in such a funk, people like you sending out the worst possible signals to these pubs.

Is this a joke? The original Modern Warfare is the only decent CoD of that series and it wasn't named, while its two sequels were? Gosh, goes to show how dumb the CoD crowd is.

Modern Warfare did suck. The multiplayer sucked. It brought a new generation to FPS and thank goodness that era is coming to an end. I will laugh when these COD players have a go at pc style twitch shooters and can't do jack sht.

I think all devs should start releasing 480p versions of all their games in Q1. Then make Q2 and Q3 editions, 720p and 900p respectively. Then top it off with the definitive 1080p Christmas edition (Only on Playstation ™)

On top of that the initial version should be a cinematic 24 FPS, then 30 FPS and the "definitive edition" should be 60 FPS.

I imagine you'd have to multiply The Cell by a Cloud, divide by DX12, then round to the nearest GDDR5 to get such results.

If they made that, there better be a Wii U port with pointer controls. Ghosts and Black Ops II play so well with those controls.

There are reasons to want that to happen.
They are holding a ton of IP's captive, for one.
You could argue that they are sucking innovation and money out of this industry.
And that their employees would be better off at just about any other company out there but are kept there by management inducing fear. They've been very public about their maltreatment of their employees.

I'd rather see their employees leave on their own though, and only because I think they are a rotten company. They are doing a good job making that happen themselves, they don't need help from me. Besides, I am not convinced that COD is taking away that much from this industry. At first felt like they were definitely taking players from other games and having a bad influence on other game designs, I don't think that is true anymore. I see a ton of innovative, and old school FPS games that have decent pop on PC and the COD crowd has become very easy to distinguish from other gamers. I feel like Activision is now adding on to the industry more than taking away from it because it has attracted so many people who don't know better.

Again I am very cynical when it comes to Activision. I would say that the magic you speak of is just marketing. Almost any publisher could do what they do if they had $350 million to invest in marketing left and right. I'd say they are only a shell of their former glory, they became what they set out to stand against, albeit a very profitable shell for the people who they happen to pay.

No more remasters this is getting more ridiculous than Hollywood splitting up movies in to two parts to extend out a trilogy.

I'd rather have other games be remastered like just to name a few FF12, Kotor, Kotor 2, Socom 1, Socom 2, Chrono Cross and RE2.
