Probably will drop a demo here as well. I definitely don't need one myself to sell me on this game but will happily play it all the same. So hyped, can't wait.

Hope they announce some tech specs like 4K/60

I already have my copy preordered and am ready for day 1. I don't want to see anything about the game until I am playing it so I will skip watching this one. I want to go in as blind as possible.

I am really hyped though. FF7Remake was an excellent game which expanded on the original enough to make it feel really fresh.

I am doing a playthrough of FF7R before Rebirth comes out.

You had to choose between 1080p/30 fps and running 720p at 35-50 fps.

I chose the latter, and the game released just a few months after I bought my 4090 rig. It was extremely rough.

I hope there is no ray tracing whatsoever...

On a sidenote, the game is look excellent. Possibly a very strong GOTY contender.

This raises the issue... Should remakes be eligible for GOTY? If any remake deserved GOTY it was last year's Resident Evil 4.

It would have 100% been my personal GOTY if not for Baldur's Gate 3.

I would have zero issue with it winning over Zelda: TOTK, Alan Wake 2 or Spiderman 2.

If it had won over BG3 on the other hand oh boy.

to FF7RR's favour, it doesn't look like 2024 will get its "BG3", "Elden Ring", "TLOU2", or "GOW" so it might just end up being the first remake GOTY.

Keeping FF7R's visuals just slightly better is so much better than them trying to push RT or some special effects but get below 60...

Enjoying it? I've yet to start the game. Given the length of these games, hoping I can beat it in time.

@lundy86_4: Enjoying it quite a bit. Took awhile to get going, setting up the game world, characters, and what not. Moving along nicely now. Game looks quite nice. A very well done remake for sure.

@Archangel3371: Yeah, Persona games are a slow build for sure, but are undoubtedly excellent for fans of JRPGs/Slice of life.

Makes me wonder if Lemmings are even capable of comprehending how far superior this game is gonna be when compared to anything and everything released on the X in 2024, 2025, 2026 and 2027, the year they're exiting gaming. I am sad for the likes of @sealionact not being able to enjoy quality titles likes these in 2024. A bit depressing even.

@hardwenzen: If JRPGs are your thing, I’m sure yet another remake/remaster/retelling of spiky haired-doe eyed-superhero stories with giggly translations is right up your alley.

@hardwenzen: Yeah, it was about the time you suggested second hand earphones and a wired headset that I realised we’re leagues apart. You like hunky guys swinging oversized swords in 3rd person in your games….i just have a wider variety, and much better taste.

They said that the sequels might have different gameplay, I will still be interested in hearing about any changes they make to it.

Looks absolutely massive. FF7R felt like a waste when dragging out Midgar, so glad they seemingly learned from that. Still looks like plenty of filler, but so long as it's good content, that's fine.

Compeltely forgot it was today. Even tho i am not really interested, i do have to respect this title because you don't have to be an expert to cearly see that a lot of love was put into it. Its crazy to think that this kind of quality is even possible by the Japanese Ubisoft.

Currently watching it, and you know the first thing i tought about (won't surprise anyone tbh)? HALO INFINITE. How the **** can MS flagship title look like its on food stamps? Literally zero variety, way way smaller, barely any voice acting, no endgame of any kind, etc. Wtf is the point of creating an open world when it feels smaller and more repetitive than the older Halo titles? Then again, you can't expect quality when the game was built for the service that killed the brand.

Anyways, i am downloading the demo, will see what's up.
