You excited for this, SW? I'll be checking this out. Am interested to see what else Nintendo adds.

An old game is added to a system created to rehash old games. Very surprising.

Meh. I already have it on a couple systems already. I love the Zelda franchise but this is probably one of my least favourite Zelda. No matter how many times I keep trying it I just can’t seem to get into it.

I don’t care. Give me Goldeneye 007 from the N64, or nothing from the N64 library.

I still have all of my old Nintendo consoles so single player games getting released for Nintendo Switch Online doesn't excite me as I can just play them on my old consoles.

I only get excited about multiplayer games being released with added online play as that is something that I can't have on the old consoles. I'm waiting for the release of stuff like Mario Party 1 to 3, Super Smash Bros, Bomberman 64, Wayne Gretzky's 3D Hockey, WWF No Mercy, and Goldeneye 007 (I know the last three are very unlikely due to licensing, but I can dream).

@mesome713: That doesn't make any sense. All it does is give you less choice in how you spend your time. You could take just as much time with Majora's Mask with or without other games by its side

Nintendo can't even get the Banjo games to run at 16:9 but Microsoft could.

Please buy Nintendo, Microsoft. They are already great at charging people subscription prices.

Yeah, I'm super excited for a game that's already been released for other systems and can easily be played on a PC or phone, now released on Switch with graphical glitches. Awesome! Thanks Nintendo, you the best!

@Litchie: Your missing out on some awesome new features.

Pick up and play

You can play, save, and jump back into the action whenever you have a few minutes—wherever you happen to be.

Play together online

Connect with friends online and share your screen for co-op or competitive play. With newly added online play for up to 4 players, get set for some epic Mario Kart 64 races with friends, no matter where they are!

Give friends a hand

When playing online, you can display a hand-shaped cursor on your friend’s screen. Use it to give hints or point out strategic locations. You can even clap to congratulate them.

Cheer them on with voice chat

You can use voice chat in these games via the Nintendo Switch Online smartphone app. It’s the next best thing to hanging out together.

The best Zelda IMO, but the 3DS version added a bunch of QOL improvements that would make it hard to go back to the original 64 version (though I don’t like what 3DS did to the bosses).

Here's BK in 4K, because that is how 3D graphics work: they scale

And Microsoft was able to pull this off years ago. Yet Nintendo still has to rely on the shittiest form of emulation for their N64 games because poor ol' Nintendo can't affort anything better with the measly $50 they get annually from blinded Switch users.

Disappointing, Nintendo should've used that extra space to display ads.

They are obviously too poor to provide quality emulation for their fans.

lol.

Pick up and play? Yeah, I've been able to do that for years.
Play together online? Yeah, could've been fun if Nintendo's online worked properly.
Give friends a hand, cheer them on, etc. Yay. Fun.

Would I put up with a worse version of the game (possibly the worst version of the game) and an online that doesn't work properly to use these features? Not even for free.

I bought VC games on Wii.... then got charged again for my same games on Wii U. Now the switch is 5 years old and they are still rolling out these same games under a new subscription service. As an extra insult, Nintendo wants to throw a party every time something like mario kart 64 is released.

For reference... I recently got a Series X, and I could install games I bought on the 360. Nintendo's handling of their legacy games has been a slap in the face to all virtual console costumers.

Yes. But it's not that much of a problem as long as emulators and roms exist. Would've been fun to play Nintendo games on Nintendo hardware, but if Nintendo's plan is to continue sabotaging their own shit, not like there's much choice.

Did Nintendupe ever fix the input lag or the fact that these higher tier subscriptions where the worst way to play these old games yet, or are they just going to continue to not improve anything and charge for it?

I played the hell out of Majora's Mask on N64 (gold cartridge) so many damn times, I lost how much hours I put into that game and only played the 3DS remake once and never look back. Nintendo can screw itself cause this isn't worth sub to play that game and thank goodness I can still play my old N64 games for free and whenever the hell I want.

This is why you DON'T sell or trade your old ass games, you can return and play'em whenever you want to.

My guess is, it'll most likely to be added for Rare Replay as it's the only Rare game that is missing in the collection aside from the games that was made for Nintendo exclusives.

I don't understand why they put the N64 version of these games up instead of the 3DS remakes, other than that they can emulate the rom for minimal effort. It's ridiculous that they charge a premium for this.
