Now that the PS5 has already won nex gen console war, what games do you hope is released on day one?

We all knew that the XBSX didn’t really have a chance to win with out any good exclusives coming out in the first year of release. So PS5 future owners, what exclusives do you hope ships on day 1?

This shit is why I hope Xbox Series X wins next gen. The tribalism with Sony fans is off the charts.

That's inane to say such a thing because many things can happen, however. Historically Microsoft has yet to beat Sony, I really don't see it happening this gen either. It might be more competitive however. I feel like Nintendo is the only one capable of winning a gen over them, or like the Wii U - totally flopping hard.

Also, are we talking about sales or quality? I feel like the 360 edged the PS3 based on its overall performance. It was a pretty chaotic gen for Sony.

But I think they will lead with Horizon 2. Perfect game to show off new hardware. And the timing seems right.

I've been thinking the same thing. They need a strong launch, no repeat of the PS4. Microsoft is going to be more competitive next gen. If they pull off Horizon 2 and Last of Us 2 port at launc, with maybe a suprise like something from FromSoft... it's going to be a big opener. If they fail to do such, this is going to be a long gen.

Yeah, Sony must come out strong when it comes to games given their weaker hardware. And MS will probably have a much stronger lineup next gen (hard to do worse). The Last of Us 2 port will def help. And to a lesser extent Ghost of Tsushima. If they have something from fromsoftware that would be a big ace in the sleeve.

I agree. I mean, let's be honest historically weaker hardware doesn't mean anything. Pricing, good innovation and games are a big factor. If Sony either is cheaper or about the same, but their launch is spectacular then they'll get an opening advantage in my opinion Microsoft won't be able to reach.

Btw, can you imagine Spiderman 2 and Horizon 2 at launch? Nah, that would be insane. But if they want to nail it...

As the above posts mentioned, Horizon 2 and spiderman 2 might be come during launch. Last of us 2 come might come too because of the delay.

I think a SOCOM game might be at launch title. It might give battlefield and cod run for its money. Also, I think a ghost in a shell game would be also possible at launch.

They should make TLOU 2 a PS5 launch title......with the delay time to work on the multiplayer and some graphical improvement, etc.

Spiderman 2 won't be a launch title thats for sure.

I'm not getting ps5, only BC for ps4 is trash, when i decide to get a new home console it will be the series x, untill then I got my PC ps4 and switch with plenty of backlog

It is. Unlike you, I own and enjoy all three current systems. I couldn't imagine sticking with just one, and I could never obsess over any single brand. Doing so would be like forcibly hurting one's own self. Simply unimaginable.

Given Sony's confusing messages so far, I have little interest in a ps5. They even managed to create confusion when launching the gamepad.

The Xbox series X will be compatible with games that already run on Xbox one,in other words if your 360 game runs on Xbox one it will run on series X if it doesn't yeah it will not run.

The majority of 360 and Xbox games will be incompatible with the series X just like they are incompatible with the Xbox one.

The reason for this is that the Xbox one is not really compatible with the Xbox and Xbox 360,is not really BC you can't play Xbox 360 games from disc on Xbox one,what the system does when you insert a compatible game is download to your Xbox a Xbox one friendly version of the same game,but in reality it is not compatible.

If like Sony came and say you know what the PS5 will be BC with PS1,2 and 3,we will allow you to use free PS Now.🤷

Could it be consider as BC? Sure but is it really? No is not.
