Gamepass does not count in NPD. Good lord now that the narrative has changed and GoW got beat by a lesser game you people are changing your narrative faster then any fanboys I have ever seen. I also thought NPD was based on revenue so the game had to sell a hell of a lot to beat those $60 games.

You can still make a full purchase of the game via GP if your trial is up. You get enough starved Xbox fans wanting to play the game once time winds down, they may as well buy it.

Like I say, the game will be scraping the bottom next month anyway. Like SoT, which is NOWHERE on the list now.

Except that NPD doesn't count amount of copies sold, but total revenue pulled in. So in essence SoD2 would have to sell 2 copies on Gamepass to match each GoW copy sold.

Edit: Actually I believe I was mistaken. Console NPD's track revenue. Unsure about games.

That was not the point of this thread. The point was it was stated in a previous thread the GoW was number one and SoD2 didn't even chart. So I am just getting the facts straight. Good lord people! I know for a fact SoD2 will not sale as well as GoW I never said that. The false narratives you fanboys create is pretty damn amazing at times. You are right NPD doesn't count gamepass but i do heard they track digital sales now,and the game was on PC as well,not to mention that GOW already was number 1 on April,most of the copies sold were sold on April.

Which is sad. There's nothing to brag about buying a broken game like SoD2. The game literally has a button to fix it when it breaks.

Not only SoD2 spanked that babysitting game, the game is still more active today and will get additional content in the future while the babysitting game is one and done, basically that's a rental game. It also slap the crap outta that movie game. No wonder why SoD2 is the top seller, more people wanted games with replay value. It's no surprise that Undead Labs was acquired by Microsoft Studios because they make fun high replay value top selling games.

I saw rumors the other day in my twitter feed about an RV style vehicle and an airplane possibly coming soon(some kind data mine rumor thing)….I hope it happens and they keep refining/expanding the game.

Wow I wouldn't take it that far. I have played both games and GoW is the better game. Chances are it is going to sale better because of that fact. I tried to get into SoD2 because I liked the first game, but for whatever reason it didn't catch me this time around. I will wait a few months and try it again because maybe it was not the type of game I wanted to play right now.

NPD does include digital, genius. Ever since they went to the revenue format.

As with every time something PS doesn't get 1st, it doesn't count.
