The thing is, last gen, xbox was always ahead in USA while used to lag worldwide.
This gen, worldwide, xbone has no chance. USA is the only place where there would be a competition. Hence, NPD numbers become important automatically since there is no competition worldwide.

I don't think so. I maybe wrong though. But i check VGCHARTZ on a weekly basis and from what i remember, the difference was more or less the same even before NPD came out.

But the only ones hyping NPD are cows. Hell they even hyped up NPD last gen until they were proven wrong over and over and over again.
