The first ever PC Gaming Show for E3 will be held tonight, at 6pm PT/8pm CT/9pm ET. It is the first ever PC Game show, so we don't know what to expect. We do know that the list of publishers and developers participating in the event include Dean Hall of DayZ fame, Cliff Bleszinski of Boss Key Productions, and developers from studios including Blizzard, Bohemia Interactive, Cloud Imperium Games, Tripwire Interactive, Square Enix, Obsidian, Paradox, Devolver Digital and the Humble Bundlers, in addition to Microsoft, The Creative Assembly, and AMD.

Keep all discussion of the conference in this thread.

Half Life 3 or bust, it's really time to unveil it.

Even if it's just a demo, they need to show off the new source engine.

well its sony FTW for this year unless something really cool comes from the PC conference.

......and it just may very well do.

im hoping to see warhammer total war and star citizen in action.

after that i have very little idea on what to expect. its a PC E3 show...this is new.

I'm expecting the show to be uninteresting to most and generally unorganaized. Showing games and content already released and the show being completely out of place in the "WHO WONZ E3 DA BOMBSHELLZ" spectacle that people expect from e3 shows.

The games appearing on it will probably be good, though.

Maybe it'll surprise, I'm not so sure, but PC doesnt really have anything to prove coming into e3.

I'm looking forward to seeing more about Ashes of Singularity. At this early stage it won't look so fun but it will end up being great RTS game like Sins of Solar Empire. It's being built like Crysis where for very high settings you'll need DX12 and Windows 10. Will feature thousands of dynamic lights in DX12 renderer, better visuals and better Artificial Intelligence.

Honestly? I'm expecting it to be a very cringeworthy "PC master race" circlejerk full of insults directed at the consoles, blind elitism, and memes. It's going to be very disconnected, very unorganized, generally poorly run. We're not going to see anything we haven't already.

I'll watch, but I'm not expecting anything but a disaster.

I agree, but what's wrong with that? Console manufacturers tend to mock each others on the press conferences and trade shows, as well.

Besides, PC gaming has been shafter for years and years.

Valve doesn't do shows. They do their own thing. Only fools are expecting Half-Life 3.

Hell at this point there isn't a shred of evidence to support that Half-Life 3 is in active development or even planned.

I'm actually going to watch it mostly because of Day9, since i doubt they will have something that interesting, i can already see the NVIDIA tech demos that won't mean anything on the real world and a bunch of games that we already saw yesterday, only thing that would make this more interesting is that Blizzard would show their new RTS Warcraft 4.

I dont really think Valve cares about this show lol. From the looks of it, this show is gonna mostly be comprised of content updates, expansion packs to games already out and established, Beta announcements, gameplay footage of already announced games, ESPORTZ and maybe an announcement for games you're likely not interested in.

I doubt the show is here to drop bombshells to shock people. The thing I'm hoping for most at least are release dates for things, as several PC games dont seem to have these anymore with Early Access development, Release Windows and the good old "when it's ready(tm)" responses.

Just warning you now to save yourself some disappointment :p

Also, System Wars should be amusing for awhile after this, I can guarantee.

You should make a list of presenters for the OP. Will Larian Studios be there? Curious what they are bringing to the table post the true GOTY of 2014.

I'm much more of a NVidia guy but I'll watch for HL3.

E3 2015 is the year to believe.

Yeah man, even when HL2 released, I remember it being marketed as an ATI game. There was so much support for radeon cards when that released.

They need to steal the genie from Sony's conference and make HL3 happen.

Even if a logo comes up and just a G-man voiceover and then they say, Join us at gamescom, or something. Anything.

A majority of games shown at E3 so far are also on PC or running on PC. More than any other system, by far.

So on the real I'm not expecting HL3.

I'm expecting a metric fuckton of indies and games we already know about. probably some PC doom footage, that game just didn't look right on console.

im sure there will be a swipe and a dig in there as there always is between companies at E3 (MS at sony in the BC, bethesda at nintendo on extra screens and so on).

but hopefully this is focused on the PC and what makes the PC great rather than focusing on trying to lessen the view of other platforms in peoples eyes. i think they know that will serve no one.

its not like the PC has a lack of things to show.

i suspect its not going to be brilliant as its the first year this has happaned..but i hope its a solid start for many more years of this.
