Why do people use steam for halo infinite when it's on GP on the Xbox app?

I'm happy to see Helldivers 2 doing well. I may check it out eventually but right now my focus is on building my Aeldari army and painting them. That's another topic though.

Infinite was also in Game Pass.

I enjoyed the first Helldivers and will get the sequel when it's cheaper.

Infinite must have more players than Helldivers 2 as only a small amount of its player base are on Steam.

Being exclusive to one console but also on another platform only proves how bullshit the practice of exclusivity is. Take that practice and cram it up your corporate ass.

This isn't a victory that Sony get's to claim, it's a partial failure for them as a business, as far as I am concerned. Congratulations to Arrowhead, however, on making an incredibly fun game with great emergent gameplay and amazing teamwork mechanics (and friendly fire, too! hahaha).

A shame stupid marketing and business practices are being used to prohibit a certain % of gamers from playing a game they totally should be able to play.

What is this supposed to mean? Firstly, its a multiplat game that will be on PS5. Secondly, the game is clunky, buggy mess aimed at kids. Helldivers2 is the best horde mode style game around, and the best depiction of a starship troopers game on the market. Helldivers 2 is light years away, and its scores showcase that pretty well.

@mrbojangles25: There’s like zero indication that the consoles lose business to PC. They’ve always operated as different markets. So selling, let’s call them “console excluded“ games makes sense. If the these two consoles that compete for the same market have the same games, the one with brand recognition and power would take over the market. I know Xbox folks are pushing this “we want our games on every platform” narrative, but Xbox is going to rely on “console excluded” games. Phil complaining about HellDivers 2 is just hypocritical noise. They’re only putting year old+ games on PlayStation once the money dries up which proves the point.

PlayStation's live service initiative is definitely off to really impressive start.

343i should learn a thing or two on how to create a live service game that doesn't feel like when you play it, you're f*cked on all fronts, and are forced to do chores to unlock anything, while also being charged $10 for something as simple as a god damn color for your armor. Disgusting. They should be developing games for the Chinese and Korean market, they're the only ones that are OK with this kind of bullshit.

I got in after ages of waiting, but the coop is completely broken, you can't find any lobby.

Sony fannies would be the only ones that would compare a multiplayer game to a single-player game.😂
