POLL: 2022 Most Wanted game

There is a lot of gud shiet. But nothing can beat Elden Ring. I am expecting it to be the best open world ever made, and with Lord Miyasaki in charge, my expectations aren't even too high.

3. GoW2 (or possibly Bioshock if its more like Bio1 and 2)

And lets not kid ourselves, BoTW2 is for 2023 guaranteed. You won't be seeing anything on the Switch until Switch 2 comes out.

Out of those Company of Heros 3 and Elden Ring. Pragmata and Red Fall isn't coming anytime soon, and by soon I mean years.

I voted for Breath of the Wild 2 but there’s definitely a number of great games that I’m looking forward to next year.

Of that list: Plague Tale, BotW2, CoH3, Forbidden West, and Elden Ring. But to be honest right now I'm not thinking about any of them except when they are brought up. Might be more pumped when they release

FF16 or RE4make, both of which probably won't release in 2022, So Elden Ring.

Atomic heart will be better than bioshock. it will be more of immersive sim.

I'm curious how Starfield will turn out, but Hogwarts Legacy is the only game on that list that I want to play.

Can't trust a noname dev. Shiny graphics is not uncommon from the noname ones, but gameplay is always a failure.

Instinction or TMNT Shredder's Revenge are at the top for me.

As of right now (from the games that have been announced), definitely Bayonetta 3.

The russian developers always deliver. plus Atomic heart concept is amazing. Its more like STALKER mix with Bioshock/System shock.

Of the games listed Starfield, Hogwarts Legacy, and Elden Ring.

Games not listed include Evil Dead, Instinction, Skull and Bones, Splatoon 3, Shredder's Revenge, The Lord of the Rings Gollum, Warhammer 40k Darktide, Gran Turismo 7, and I'm still interested in Roller Champions (if the game ever releases).

I'm sure there are a lot of others as well. In my opinion 2022 is looking WAY better than the past several years. I also already know they are releasing Modern Warfare 2 (2019's sequel) which is my favorite CoD game ever, so things are definitively looking up. I'm also looking forward to hearing more about XDefiant and CrossfireX.

I voted Horizon Forbidden West. Most anticipated game is really FFXVI but it's still unproven. I bought a PS4 just to play FFXV and will buy a PS5 just to play FFXVI. It better be worth it lol

Super hard to choose between GoW and Elden... but i went with elden ring. Zelda super close 3rd.

I’ll go with GOW :Ragnarok, however BF 2042 was one of the main reasons why I jumped into next gen do early, so for right now, BF 2042 has all of my hype now.

Gran Turismo 7 is my most wanted.

From the list, Starfield and Stalker 2. Not on the list: Forza Horizon 5, Diablo 4, GTA Trilogy remaster.

Oh yeah, Diablo IV is definitely up there. Game looks great, and I'm down for another ARPG (skipping Diablo 2).

GTA Trilogy remaster is already set to launch next month, lol, I hope it's quality.

Seeing how so many games are being delayed these days, I wouldn't be surprised if many on that list you posted will not be released on 2022.

WH40K Darktide for me, was my most anticipated game for 2021 but it got pushed back.

Where are Stalker 2 gameplay vids? How is it that there is absolutely nothing but 5sec cuts? I am worried that it gets delayed to end of 2022 and then early 2023.

the thing is. vanilla STALKER doesnot matters. modded one is. all we have seen is vanilla STALKER.

This game is far more intelligent than many PC games that PC gamers praised (MOH allied assault, Crysis, Witcher etc)

Crysis was consolized game that was exclusive to PC. had regen health, cinematics, second half complete linear and have on rail segments.

Imagine shitting on Call of Duty, but call Call of Duty: Russian Underground a masterpiece. It's funny how merely a setting make a game from ass to gold.

Deathloop is not dumbed down. its different approach.

Prey was flop in sales only because it was too hardcore for general audience.

remember Dues Ex Human revolution. it was kinda dumbed down but still manage to live up to original.

so why should STALKER 2 follow 2009 game fear 2 and Crysis 2? why cant it follow Prey, Deus Ex HR, Doom etc to manage to live up to previous games.

Metro is masterpiece.

Its among the best gaming trilogy of all time. I dont remember last time in COD, I was exploring underground tunnels, using gasmask, encountering excellent unique atmosphere, having deep story and characters.

i love ghost's revisionism on crysis. hailed it as a masterpiece for years on here until someone pointed out to him that it had regen health, then he's slowly revised his opinion from masterpiece to great to good to cinematic on rails console shooter lol

I still liked Crysis. but fact remain fact.

It has regen health, scripted sequence, on rail segment, the last mission is heavily scripted with terrible final boss fight.

Spiderman 2 is 2023.

Company of Heroes 3, Total War: Warhammer 3, Elden Ring, and Monster Hunter Rise PC are all games I'm hyped for in 2022. Horizon FW and GoW Ragnarok are up there too, but these four games will keep me busy enough to where I can wait for either the complete editions or a price drop before picking them up.

Also, Spiderman 2 is a 2023 game, but I am ready to play it for sure. The first game was one of my favorite PS4 games.

Had to go with BOTW 2. Best game of the generation last gen imo. Only ninty could surpass it.
